No more trees

Today we had a bunch of trees in our yard cut down. I'm not a tree-cutter-downer, I'm actually kind of against it, but some of the trees were real old & prob going to fall on our house eventually. 1 of them was a home to a squirrel. The tree had a crack in it & it was hollow. I told A to make sure the guys knew that it was the squirrel's home. So tonight after the guys were all done I was looking out the window & there he was Mr. Squirrel looking very confused & circling around his former home. I felt so bad. I almost wanted to cry.

This is T watching them cut the trees down.

After they were done. I should have taken a before pic.

Hubs has a week off from work in Aug, so he's going to clear out the rest of the trees & branches. It looks weird. I think we have to get use to it, but I am excited for T to have a bigger area in the backyard to play in. We'll also plant some grass back there maybe next year.

Hi Kimberley,
It's so nice to meet you!
Thanks for the sweet B-day wishes and kind visit to my blog. You're always welcome!

Sorry about your trees. I'm sure it was for the best in the long run.

Have a blessed weekend.
~Warmly, Melissa :)

I hate having to cut down trees too, but sometimes you have to for safety. Happy Saturday SITS Sharefest :)

What ever happened to the squirrel? Did he find a new home...that would bother me, too!
