Most of the time when I tell my hubby that I have an idea, he says "Uh, oh". But this time it was a really good idea. Since we cut down a lot of the trees in the yard it's really too bright. So I remembered that we had bought an umbrella for the beach last year (that we never used). So he brought it up & it fit perfectly in the center of the table. So hubby, the next time I have an idea don't be scared.

urrrgh. I get so frustrated when I have an idea that he doesn't think is great! So, like you, I just do it, and he usually agrees...
I have been telling my DH for weeks that I wanted a new desk and it would look great in our living room. He balked and balked. Finally we bought it yesterday, put it exactly where I suggested and he said "Wow, that really doe look good, doesn't it?" Well, duh...
Men... they just do not listen... It does look great.

I love this post, because I always have a constant stream of ideas and my hubby has to kind of reign me in a bit with reality. (whatever that is) lol

No matter what brilliant new plan I have, and they're always brilliant, I get the same "uh oh." I'd think he'd learn by now to get excited about my ideas. Men, men, men...
