Hard to believe that she is a 5th grader already. At least she won't be in middle school yet. I don't think she is ready for that. She has 1 more year at this school. Looks like she'll be doing slime camp & maybe a yoga camp over the Summer.

The past few weeks have been stressful. I think the end of the school year, Father's day, presents for teachers, planning my birthday vacation always get stressful for me. I have a billion thoughts & ideas running through my head. My anxiety has been really bad. When it gets like that I just have to go be alone & sit & write a letter to a pen pal or write a list. I'm trying to learn to cope, but think I will be seeing a doctor at some point this Summer. Summer is fun & my favorite time of year, but also really stressful. When you have kids home making slime messes & making food messes. I want to find some fun crafts to do, like painting rocks. Keep her busy doing something. I found out that my pen pal committed suicide a week & 1/2 ago. So I'm feeling really sad. I just hope she is at peace now. Sorry for the Debbie Downer post, but I like to be real. We all have emotions & things that go on that aren't always happy.

We went on a field trip yesterday to Odiorne point state park. It was my 1st time volunteering. We went out on some rocks & looked for crabs. Some were big & the other 1s were tiny. There was 1 with orange on her, that meant that she was pregnant.
I always wanted a pet seahorse. They are so cute. We ended up going inside to the museum for a little while. We saw a blue lobster & some seahorses. They're so cool. Also went in the gift shop. I got some butterfly earrings. Tara got a few things too. It was a beautiful day out. I got a bit sunburned even though I used spray sunblock.

Recently I was asked to do a review for a bakery company called Bakerly. The company was started by 2 French men who decided to combine their knowledge and experience and share it with the U.S. Their philosophy is "Simple ingredients, honest origins". All of their products are non-gmo and completely free of preservatives, artificial coloring, artificial flavoring, zero high fructose corn syrup and zero trans fats. They use real milk, fresh eggs, real strawberries and the chocolate comes from real cacao trees.
The package that we received came wrapped up in this cute paper. I think I'm going to do some scrapbooking with it. Recycle & reuse right?
We also got this adorable tote bag. We've been using it a lot since it so happy & cheery.
We got this Hand braided Brioche French bread. It is sooo good. I gave it to my husband as a sandwich for work & I had a few grilled cheeses with it. It was so fresh & had an awesome taste.
Next we tried the chocolate filled crepes. My daughter Tara loved them so much. She kept saying how yummy they were. She ended up eating most of them, I got to have 1. So it looks like we will be ordering more of these and the bread.
She didn't love the strawberry crepes that much, but my husband and I liked them.
She thought it was really cool that you can eat the crepe off of your fingers. haha. Thumbs up because it was so good.
Check out Bakerly, they have great healthy snacks for your whole family.

Today was the strawberry festival. We've been going since Tara was almost a year old, I think. It use to be at the library, but now it is at the high school. Anthony volunteered to make balloon animals, so T helped. I got their at the end of their shift, but got to see her make a sword for a little girl (she was around 2), so that was cute.
They have a free photo booth. So we got this picture done & Tara got a few with her friend. I love photo booths, but I never know where to look & am never ready. We have them on the fridge from all the past years.

*Some of my goals for this month is to go through all of my magazines & get rid of them. I have a stack that I haven't read.
*Go through Summer clothes that doesn't fit & I don't like & get rid of it. I want to get everything organized before Tara gets out of school at the end of June. I hope I can do it. It will be fun.
*Try avocado. I know it's suppose to be healthy. I'm seeing my nutrionist next Wednesday. Hopefully I can get some recipes.
*There's lots going on this month. The strawberry festival, Girl scouts last meeting (a parent has to stay to help do a scrapbook page), I need an oil change, to get my inspection sticker, a new license picture, Tara's dance recital, she has a sleepover b-day party to go to that night, a field trip (I'm volunteering to go along, just got finger printed today), Father's day, Hot air balloon festival (as long as the weather is nice) in VT, Going away for my birthday, I think to Atlantic city, NJ. We need to decide soon.
*Maybe sell some stuff. Boots & purses & maybe clothes. See what else I have to get rid of.
Happy Goals to you all. Be positive, you can reach your goals. Do you have any goals for June?
