I can't believe that we've been married for 7 years today. We took a cruise to Bermuda. The weather was awesome.
This was the 1st night on the ship. I drank a bit too much that night (no one told me that the drinks we're stronger on cruises. Don't drink martinis too much anymore).
We didn't have much of a honeymoon since we had friends & family with us on the cruise. We hope to go back someday & have our real honeymoon. We did go to NYC for a few days after we got back. So much fun.
Tara was in the Memorial day parade yesterday with her Daisy troop. Her 1st parade. She had so much fun. 1 of the mom's made an awesome banner (she's a Stampin' up lady). I don't want to post it because it has our town name & the troop # on it.
The weather has been horrible here the past week. Rainy & cool. The sun finally came out today. Tomorrow is suppose to hit 72 & be sunny. It does not feel like Summer. By the end of the week it will be close to 90 degrees. I'm getting excited for our Summer trips & day trips. So much going on the next few weekends, so the day trips will be on hold. Lots of fun things coming up in the next few weeks.
I was thinking today about my fave holidays:
1. My birthday (I know it's not a holiday for everyone, but it is for me. I never worked on my b-day & we always go away on vacay every year. So it is like a holiday for us).
2. 4th of July. Something about 4th of July is just magical to me.
3. Memorial Day weekend.
Today we went on a date night to Cheesecake factory. I love their food, hubs doesn't. He found a blade in his food about 6 years ago. We had a 40 min wait, so he went to the food court & had Indian food. He did have Cheesecake with me. I got Hershey choc cheesecake. It was so good. Really rich & a huge peace. So I have leftovers.
3. Make your own ice cream sundae at Tara's school (so good)
4. I found my missing Baby Lips~Pink Punch
5. Yummy stuffed peppers that I made last night (we are eating the rest tonight, so I don't have to cook)
6. Butterflies in our yard

7. My new shower gel from Calgon, Sweet Crush
8. JoJo's thyroid test coming back normal
At the vet
9. Hubby is shaving his go-tee this weekend
10. Looking forward to the long weekend

Today I'm wearing DelSol~Calypso (pink) & Maybelline color show~Boho gold. Not loving them together. I was at the hair salon last week & the stylest had on pink & gold on the same nails, but I liked hers a lot better. I think I'm going to change it tonight or tomorrow. I just bought Essie's Butler Please, so I might change it to that.
That sounds so weird, but my Mom use to say that to me whenever I asked her to take a photo of me when I was growing up. I always loved to pose. Now I do tons of selfies. Everyone now does that for Facebook, Instagram, Blogs etc... So I don't seem so strange anymore. haha. Someday when I have time I'll scan some of my older poser photos. Now Tara does the same thing with my ipod. I found these 2 last week.
When I'm bored I take photos of myself (& other things too). Usually when I'm waiting for the school bus. I took this 1 today. I never take photos of myself not smiling because I look really mean, but I did 1 today & it's not too bad. I guess I'm sort of smiling.
1. Sunshine & warm Summer weather
2. Newly trimmed & colored hair (having my hair dyed soon by Hubs)
3. Getting Happy mail
4. When my daughter giggles
5. Seeing my Parents
7. Scrapbooking with friends
9. Taking the perfect picture
10. Catching up with friends
Today all 3 of us in our family had our hair trimmed. 1st we went to Snipits & had Tara's hair trimmed. The girl straightened her hair. It looked so pretty. She's never had her hair straightened. I've thought of straightening it myself for her, but I'm so clumsy that I figure I'll burn her with the flat iron. We both have crazy thick frizzy hair that is always out of control. I straighten my own hair once-in-a-while, but I have carpal tunnel, so my hands always hurt after.
Stack ring with Tara's name on it. The stone fell out of the ring that I won.
Wristlet from 31
In reality I'm planning on getting a new tattoo this month. It will be a present combining Mother's Day & our anni on 5/30. But my birthday is at the end of June, so I could still get any of these for my Birthday.
