Am I getting old?
I had the radio on in my car today & Nickelback's song "Something in your Mouth" was on. I've heard it a bunch of times, but the lyrics are kind of dumb. Don't get me wrong I love Nickelback & kind of like the song, but Really? I think I'm just getting old. I roll my eyes everytime I hear the song.

I can imagine why yours is too young to have a canopy up though, my youngest is 22 months and keeps wanting to pull at her sister's, she finds it just TOO exciting :-S

No, it's not that yer getting old, I bet you rolled yer eyes at dumb songs when you were 18, too! I know I did...some songs were just SO BAD yet they got a lot of airplay...even today I will switch off the radio if they come on!!!
I hate the lyrics to that one too. I can't stand to listen to it.

Oh man. I had to go listen to it on youtube just to see what you were talking about (all I get to listen to anymore is kids music, bleck!) and no, it's not just you. I like to think I'm a young-at-heart rock-n-roll fan, and I really like Nickelback to, but that song is just stupid. I wonder if it's aimed at someone in particular. Must be, but if so, wouldn't it be better to keep it between them instead of forcing the rest of us to listen to those dumb lyrics?!

hahaha! i feel that way too about certain lyrics. don't feel bad. at least you listen to them - most people don't!
NO not old. Just wiser. I feel this way about most of the songs on the radio these days.
