Twilight

Look what I got from the library today. I have not seen the movie or read the book yet. We'll probably watch it on Friday night or Sat. I'm anxious to see what all the hype is. I have no interest in reading the book. I know everyone usually says the book is better than the movie, but I usually like the movie better. That's just me. So I will prob write a post about how I liked the movie. I also dvr'd "Vampire diaries", but we haven't watched that yet. By the way 1 of my all-time fave movies is "The Lost Boys". Anyway, I think I'm getting a cold. I've had a sore throat for the past week & woke up with a killer 1 today & T has had a runny nose. So I'm going to keep this short & go lay on the couch & watch "The Rachel Zoe project".

Oh fun! I loved the book and the movie was good, but I didn't think i would have liked the movie at all if I hadn't read the book first. However... that being said, one of my BFF's watched the movie first because she feels the same way you do, and typically enjoys the movie more, and she ended up loving the movie, and THEN reading the book because she wanted to understand more... Now she's the biggest fan I know. lol

Enjoy!

You definitely should give the book a try:) It's an awesome book and a quick read! They took sooooo much out for the movie.

I thought the first and second books were not too bad. It was the third and fourth books that made me want scream. I thought the movie was ok. Could have been better, but could have been much worse, and it was a faithful adaptation to the book.

Hey Kim-I watched the movie with my 11 year old son, it was good! I liked it.
I have lots of friends who love the books even more though! OMG, did the Pats get lucky or what! lol

Hey Kimberly,

I loved the movie. I am new to it all. Rented the dvd from Netflix early this year and like it a lot (never read the book, though). I can't wait until the new movie comes out. Dakota Fanning is supposed to be a new character in the new movie. I am curious.

the movie follows the book almost verbatim, so you don't have to read the book to 'get it' - some people have liked the movie, i found it a little cheese, but then again, i'm not that much into chick movies

Loved the books. Thought the movie fell WAY flat. Interesting to see what you think of it. I've heard that usually if you like the book you like the movie. The people I know that haven't read the book really didn't like the movie.

I'm thinking about reading the books too. I saw the first movie, but wasn't all that impressed with it. It was good, but just not as good as they all made it out to be.
