My friend gave me 3 of these last year. I tried planting 1 last year & nothing happened. So yesterday morning I thought I'd try these 2, Basil & chive. It says to keep them moist & put in a sunny window. Well we don't have any windowsills, so I really don't know where to put them. I'm giving it another try though.

planting herbs

I'm just getting around to catching up with everyone. I wanted to say thanks so much for your sweet words about my uncle. It meant a lot to me!
It might help if you make a "dome" over it-like a greenhouse. The seeds need humidity. A friend of mine suggested using plastic wrap to cover pots, but I haven't tried it. I just planted some herb seeds as well, so hopefully I'll post about what I did in the next few days.
