New Book That I'm Reading
This book is about a woman that has a standoffish neighbor & has trouble with him. She ends up deciding to "Kill him with Kindness" & starts a blog to chronicle the kind things she does. She starts to fall for him, but isn't sure if she should tell him about the blog. I thought I might like this since I write a blog.
My last book that I finished last night, I only gave 3 stars on Goodreads. It was about a murder in a mansion, but the whole book was them in the mansion trying to figure out who the murderer was.

Tasty Tuesday~Italian Baked Chicken and Pasta Casserole
Italian Baked Chicken and Pasta Casserole
Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat or gluten free penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup cubed chicken breast (i-inch cubes)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes with juice
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup grated parmesan
1 tablespoon butter, plus more for buttering the baking dish
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cook your pasta al dente, or about 5-10 minutes. Drain and pour into a mixing bowl.
Add olive oil to a saute pan and add the chicken. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then add your onions and garlic and cook until chicken is cooled through, or about 5 more minutes.
Put the chicken mixture into the bowl with the cooked pasta. Add the canned tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Place the mixture in a buttered 8 by 8 by 2-inch baking dish.
In a small bowl mix together the bread crumbs and the parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over the top of the pasta mixture. Bake until the top is golden brown, about 30 minutes. Enjoy.

Mommy & Me Monday
We took this pic on Thanksgiving. I thought it came out pretty cute. It was a selfie & I think we look a lot alike in it.

Goals
Is everyone starting to think about what their goals for the new year are going to be? I have a good feeling about 2018. Business opportunities & other stuff. Maybe starting a You tube channel & selling stuff online. I've been feeling more positive & have been writing in my journal more lately. I'm thinking of doing a December Daily book & want to do a vision board before the new year. I've already started writing out Christmas cards & mailed out a few. We need to take a picture of Tara with the cats for our main X-mas card. We tried taking a few today, but they didn't come out good at all. 1 thing I haven't been doing good with, is going to bed earlier. It's already after 11:00pm. That is 1 of my main goals right now. I think it's important to get a good night sleep & I haven't been getting it.

Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo Review
I've been using Maple Holistics Tea tree oil shampoo for the past few months. It makes my hair so soft. The shampoo smells so good too.
A little about the ingredients:
Tea tree is from Australia. It works to clear dead skin cells from the hair follicles and combats dandruff (as well as a natural solution for head lice).
Rosemary works to stimulate the cell renewal of the hair follicles as the tea tree simultaneously clears out the dead ones. By regulating oil secretions and increasing circulation. Rosemary will aid in leaving your hair smooth & refreshed.
Lavender works to clear away any blemishes on the scalp and ease the pain of burns and prevents infections.
I have really dry skin, so I also have dry scalp & dandruff. Living in New England & having really cold Winters makes it worse. Last Winter was the worst my dandruff has ever been. I think this has helped quite a bit. This shampoo is nice & creamy & bubbles up nicely. I massage it in while I'm letting it sit for a few minutes. It is safe for color treated hair. I color my hair every few months & the color usually fades fast. I dye my hair either red or plum & both colors are known to fade fast. This shampoo has helped my color stay in longer. The bottle says to not blow dry it, but once it cools off here & Fall/Winter hits, I blow dry my hair each time I wash it. I only wash my hair twice a week though. Natural tea tree oil shampoo is sulfate free & contains over 98 all natural compounds to promote scalp health. This product is made in the USA too, which is great. You can chose a free sample here.

Nail Files. Week # 204
This week I have on Color Club~Wild at Heart. I love Holo nail polishes. I really need to get more of them. I've been wearing a lot of purple polishes lately. I should probably take a break from them. Purple is my fave color though.

Stuff & Things
*Tomorrow night there is a benefit for my brother, who passed away, to raise $ to help pay for his headstone (my Dad paid for it, so the $ will be going to him). A bunch of us are going. Some friends & some family. My brother wrote songs, so his friends in bands will be performing his songs live.
*I didn't realize there was so much drama in elementary school. I guess I don't remember back that far, but there's a lot of drama going on lately.
*I'll be glad when the holidays are over. Hoping they go fast. At least next week is Thanksgiving.
*I keep saying that I need to go to bed earlier & end up staying up until after 11:00. Ya know what I'm doing so late? Posting on my blog. Also reading.

What's the Rush?
I kind of hate when stores rush the Holidays. It just annoys me & stresses me out more. They had Christmas music on in Bath & Body works & in the mall. You Tubers are already doing Christmas diys & shopping for X-mas stuff & doing hauls. I've deleted some of the videos & didn't even bother watching them. 1 You tuber was decorating for Christmas in her video. I can't imagine having your Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving & while you are eating your Thanksgiving dinner, having your tree there. I like to wait until at least December 1st. I'll put up like 1 wreath before. I did buy a few Christmas stickers over the weekend, at Target's dollar section. I do have to start thinking about X-mas labels & X-mas photo cards. What type of person are you? Someone who decorates early & gets excited or a ba-humbugger like me? lol.

Change
I don't really do well with change. I get use to something being a certain way & want it to stay that way. We've lived in NH for just about 10 years. I think I've had 5 different doctors because they've switched practices. I've had different dentists & eye doctors because they were overcharging me. Recently my hair dresser moved to another salon, in the same town, but haircuts cost more & all the other services, which means more tip. Great for her, but not so great for me. I'm planning on making an appointment soon with her, but most likely will only be going every 6 months instead of every 2-3 months. Her new salon is in a downtown area, so hard to find parking etc... So I'm kind of thinking, should I stay at the same salon & try a new girl or stick with the girl I've had for 4 or 5 years. I think I will check out the salon & see how I like it. I have long hair & get nervous having someone cut it, thinking they might cut too much off. My hair stylest has long hair, so she gets it. I'll be having angles cut on the sides & long layers in the back. I wear my hair down most of the time in the Winter because it's so cold, so I usually have the angles cut. How do you do with change? Do you just go with the flow or feel anxiety with change?

Friday Favorites
I got a new hot chocolate that a You tuber recommended. It's really good. It says to use 3 tablespoons, but I've been using 2 & I think it's sweet enough.
I bought some Mrs. Meyers, Honeysuckle soap recently & I love the scent. I also have the cleaning spray. I want to get more Mrs. Meyers products, since they are made from plant based products & essential oils.
I went to Bath & Body works & got a few things today.
The Wallflower was $2.95 & the candle was $12.95. I really wanted to stock up on Sweater weather wallflowers, but they aren't selling them anymore, only the candles. That makes no sense since it's suppose to be out for Winter. I hope they bring them back for the Semi-annual sale in December. I also heard that around December 1st the candles will be $8.
