My hubby & I went on our 1st date. We met on match.com. We talked for 2 months & then met on 8/31/03 at Jumbalayas restaurant. If I remember right he was a few minutes late, but he showed up with flowers. That's why he was late cause he stopped to get them. I knew during that date that I was done looking for Mr Right. I had gone out with 2 other guys from match. 1 on 2 dates & another on 1 date. I canceled my membership to Match the next day. We've been together ever since.

Exercise balls are dangerous

I bought 1 last week. My doc said that it might help my back & posture. Well my hubby was on it earlier & saying he could balance on it with his feet up in the air. He was in the kitchen adding child locks to the drawer. So I decided to sit in there with him on the ball on the kitchen floor. I decided to stretch & lean back. Well the ball started rolling & I fell backwards. I knocked Tara over & hit the stove door really hard with the back of my head, bruised my elbow & stratched my foot. My head still hurts & my neck. I knew better than to sit on the floor with it, but did it anyway.

Kids songs

We have a few kids cds & toys with music on them. I always get the songs stuck in my head. I'm a cool rock chic, I'm not suppose to have "Old McDonald" or "Skip to my Loo" stuck in my head. I think I might have to start playing my music after I hear 1 of her songs to try to get another song in my head.

Too many photos

I'm always taking pics, pretty much everyday. That's my thing, that's what I do. Now I'm trying to get them organized & get the old 1s in photo albums & the newish 1s in scrapbooks. My hubby pointed out that I won't be able to put all of the new 1s in scrapbooks. I have over 150 pics just from July. I'm in the process of sending them in to be printed for tomorrow. I wanted to print each months pics at the end of the month, but I'm already behind. I have thousands of pics since I was born. I do have at least 20 albums filled with pics & a big box full that I'm organizing now. So photo albums it is. I'll do some scrapbooks for diff things & photo albums for others.

The other day 1 of Tara's sandals went missing. I looked all over for it. I figured it must have gotten lost when we were out somewhere. I wanted her to wear them with her outfit on Saturday. Anthony ended up finding it in the fridge behind something. Not sure when she put it in there. She must have snuck it in when I had the door open.

Yum of the day

Lately I've been making my own salad dressing. I got the recipe from a mag & I really like it.

Mix equal parts olive oil & lemon juice, add a dash of salt & chop your choice of fresh herbs (like parsley, dill & cilantro).

I've noticed that I don't like equal parts olive oil & lemon juice. I put more olive oil than lemon juice & add oregano & crushed red pepper & no salt. You have to put a lot of oregano or other spices that you like. I hate cilantro, but everyone is different. Play around with the spices. It's so good. Let me know if any of you try it. It's cool cause most people already have the items in their house.

Milani cosmetics

I just discovered a new cosmetic company. Well it's probably not new, but new to me. It's called Milani. I bought 2 of the nail polishes the other day. Key lime shine & Diamond dazzle. I saw about 6 total that I wanted. I might go back next week & get a few more. They sell them at CVS & Sears Essentials. I also got an eye shadow last month.

Family tree

I just started doing my family tree. I actually found 3 different sites for it. I'm gonna check them all out & see which 1 I like better. I've always been interested in this, but never really got into it. Not that I need another hobby that I don't have time for. Not sure why I am starting another project when I have like 10 going. I like to keep busy.
