This is my bulletin board area. I just updated it a few minutes ago. I think I am going to do a Photo a day challenge that I saw on a blog. I have a photo calendar that my friend sent me for Christmas & I also have my February clutter control calendar up.

4 & 1/2
Today Tara turned 4 & 1/2. I really can't believe it. She's grown so much since she started school in September. She can write all her letters & is counting all-the-time (her fave # right now is 99. No, she can't count to 99, but she likes that # a lot).
She's really into make-up/nail polish & Barbie, ballet dancing & reading make-up blogs. She loves Pirate's booty, pretzels & knock knock jokes. She wants to be a doctor & a teacher. She wants to dress pretty all-the-time & wear dresses everyday (so much for the 20 pairs of jeans that we got from freecycle). She's also stubborn, moody & sensitive & worries a lot (just like her Mom). She's so much like me & also a Cancer (Moonchild). She has lots of attitude & wants to do things on her own now & steals my jewelry & hides it/loses it on me. Age 3 till now have been the hardest so far, but hopefully 5 will be our best age so far.

What's in Tara's bag
She got this bag for Christmas from 1 of my friends. The other day we went to Walmart & Wendys she brought this with her.
It wasn't very exciting this week. But she took out a baby doll, that was mine when I was little & some cat food, that goes with her Fur real cat & put the baby & the food on the table. I laughed that she brought food with her for the baby. I can't even remember to bring her snack sometimes with us. She always finds cute/unique things to bring with her.

Growing up
Today T had off from school & we went to see Alvin & the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked with some friends. It was really cute. Tara informed me tonight that she wants to have her own blog about make-up & nail polish & she wants to vlog. Vlog? I don't even vlog. I told her that we do have a web-cam on the laptop. I've never used it. We've had it probably 8 months now. I told her that if hubs can figure out how to use it, we can have her do a few videos. But I probably would only share it with friends & family.

Neutrogena revitilizing lip balm
I recently saw Neutrogena's revitilizing lip balm on a blog & thought I would check it out. It has spf 20 & makes your lips look rosier in just 1 week. I bought the Sunny berry. I love it so much that I went & bought the soft caramel. That color is really light, but I put my copper color lipstick over it & it adds some color to it.
Last night I realized that my Sunny Berry was missing & I had put it in the washer & dryer (it was in my pocket). So now I have to go get a new 1. There's a little bit left, but it pretty much melted. I went to get another 1 today, but the store was out of that color & only had 1 left of each color.

My Simpler Life website
It's that time of year again that everyone is trying to get organized. I usually do it in the Spring & Fall & in January. I found this website that has a calendar that you can print. Each day it has a few things that you can organize. Just quick ideas. I printed January & Feb out. I have January hanging on my bulletin board in my office. I try to read them each day & do what it says. It's kind of fun. Here is the site: My Simpler Life

Pirate cannonballs recipe
I got the Picture Me cooking book last Christmas. I decided to start making some new recipes from the book. We made about 4 or 5 of them last year. We made these pirate cannonballs today & they were awesome. We didn't have any powdered sugar because we used it up when we made the cookies for the cookie swap, but they still tasted so good even without that.
