Mad mailman

We have a mailman that isn't in a mailtruck, but in a car. I think it's a driving school car because the steering wheel is on the other side of the car. He zooms down the street & reminds me of a crazy man. Okay, maybe I'm exagerating, but I always laugh when I see him. T & I were walking down the street today when he went by & I moved us onto the grass. I love to get mail, so I'm always happy to see him going by, even if we have to jump out of the way.

My mailman drives a regular car also...He wears a top hat too. Just the quirks of living in a tiny town.

I grew up in a small town and we had a mail-car too! And the steering wheel was on the other side!! I think its so they can reach the mailbox on the side of the road they are on! =) They alway take up alotta space dont they?

LOL, I love how you say you love to get mail, so you don't mind if you have to jump out of your crazy mailman's way... that cracks me up!!!

I don't mind getting mail... I just don't like bills!

If you notice on most mail trucks, the wheel is on the opposite side, too. That's so they can drive and deposit mail without having to reach across. Sounds like your mailman hasn't gotten the hang of it yet! SITs sent me by, and I'm glad they did!

Mine likes to pretend we are not home and leave notices for packages rather than pull into our driveway. When I've complained to the post office they tell me I must not have heard her knock. This lady must also think she is in the Indy 500 or a video game where the object is to see how fast she can throw the mail at the mailbox.

Visiting from SITS.
