Lipsense review

Not sure if you've heard of Lipsense, but I have heard a lot of people raving about it. So when I got a chance to try Lipsense I was really excited. I chose the Persimmon liquid lipstick & got a matte gloss with it. They also have different glosses to chose from. 1st you put on the liquid lipstick & then put the gloss over it. The gloss is moisturizing shea butter based. It is a system that must be used together to work. It comes with directions. You have to put it on clean/dry lips & apply color in 3 thin layers (waiting between layers) & then apply the gloss at least 5 seconds after color. Lipsense is a long lasting liquid lip color that is guaranteed to last 4-18 hours. It is waterproof, smudge proof, kiss proof & non-drying. It is lead-free, wax free, gluten free, vegan, kosher & not tested on animals. Sounds great doesn't it?

I love the color that I picked. It's really pretty. It did stay on really good. You can mix different colors. There are 40 colors to chose from. Apply a different color with each layer.  It does tingle a bit when you put it on. The tingling can be noticed more by someone that has very dry lips. My lips are really dry. The tingling sensation is cause by the cosmetic grade alcohol which creates a bacteria free environment in the tube. It took me a few tries to get it to go on right & look good. It's a bit different than most lip products, but that's why it works so good. I kind of wish it had a better scent/taste to it though. The gloss doesn't really have a scent. This is a swatch that I did. The color matches our deck.

To remove Lipsense you can use Ooops remover (sold by the company), an oil based make up remover, a neutrogena bar soap or castille soap. I used coconut oil before & today I used some wipes that I had in the car to remove the swatch. It really does stay on good, so it isn't going to come off on it's own. Would I recommend this product? Yes, I would. If you would like to try it I have a discount code to share with you. Use the code bloggymoms15 at check out for a 15% discount. Go to Red Gate Beauty to order.

Bakerly Review

Recently I was asked to do a review for a bakery company called Bakerly. The company was started by 2 French men who decided to combine their knowledge and experience and share it with the U.S. Their philosophy is "Simple ingredients, honest origins".  All of their products are non-gmo and completely free of preservatives, artificial coloring, artificial flavoring, zero high fructose corn syrup and zero trans fats. They use real milk, fresh eggs, real strawberries and the chocolate comes from real cacao trees.

The package that we received came wrapped up in this cute paper. I think I'm going to do some scrapbooking with it. Recycle & reuse right?

We also got this adorable tote bag. We've been using it a lot since it so happy & cheery.

We got this Hand braided Brioche French bread. It is sooo good. I gave it to my husband as a sandwich for work & I had a few grilled cheeses with it. It was so fresh & had an awesome taste.

Next we tried the chocolate filled crepes. My daughter Tara loved them so much. She kept saying how yummy they were. She ended up eating most of them, I got to have 1. So it looks like we will be ordering more of these and the bread.

She didn't love the strawberry crepes that much, but my husband and I liked them.

She thought it was really cool that you can eat the crepe off of your fingers. haha. Thumbs up because it was so good.

Check out Bakerly, they have great healthy snacks for your whole family.

Next was J Crew, it's all set up & looking all cozy for Christmas. I've never been in that store before.

Then Banana Republic. The girl that was hosting in that store was so nice & bubbly. She made us all smile. I loved this poncho that they had there.

Centimegift review

I love name rings, name necklaces etc.. I have my name necklace & Tara has a few. So when I was contacted by Ginny from Centimegifts I was really excited. The ring came in a cute box all wrapped up with a bow on top.

This is the name ring that I got below. I love it. It's so pretty. Sorry the photo isn't great. My camera is dying. I love silver & have been wearing it every day since I got it. It's so dainty & fancy too.

You can choose different styles. Gold, silver, monograms, initials & more.

Personal Handwriting bracelet ~The bracelet pendant is made from a piece of handwriting of your loved one. This will make a great anniversary or wedding gift. My parent's anniversary is coming up in October. That would be a great gift for my Dad to get for my Mom.

Couple name rings ~You can pic a name or phrase, choose from different font style and make a chunky, modern piece of personalized jewelry with it. This would be really nice to have along with my Tara ring.

Personalized-signature necklace ~The necklace pendant is made based on your signature or the signature of a loved one. I love signature necklaces. I love handwriting & am hoping to teach my 7 year old how to hand-write. I heard that they don't teach it in school anymore. I think it's so pretty & fancy looking.

Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade & Circle K. #mymikesmoment #mc #sponsored

“I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Mike’s hard lemonade. I received a Circle K gift card to facilitate this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”

Summer is over & now it's back to school & homework, dance, brownies & other fun activities. As a busy Mom, I like things to be quick & convenient. Long days & nights so sometimes I like to unwind at night, either with the hubs or alone. Read a book, light some candles & have a drink sometimes. Mike's Hard Lemonade makes it easy to grab a quick drink. No mixing & measuring.

I love the owls on the Limited edition box & the top of the bottles. I'm totally in love with owls. Limited edition Mike's pink hard Lemonade is available until October. Since 2009, Mike's hard pink Lemonade has released it's seasonal pink lemonade flavor. In support of Breast cancer awareness & Mike's has contributed more than 1 million dollars to breast cancer awareness. So when you enjoy a Mike's pink lemonade you are supporting a great cause by helping to raise awareness. Every year I buy a few pink items to support the cause. I have a few t-shirts, bracelets & a few cute bags. They now even have nailpolish.

The caps are really cool too. My daughter decided that she is going to collect bottle caps. This is her 1st cap to start her collection.

With the gift card besides the Mike's hard lemonade, I got a scarf, we got Tara a Big eye racoon named Rocco & put some gas in my husband's truck. You can see all the different types of things that you can buy at Circle K. I didn't know they had scarves & Big eyes. I always thought they just had candy, soda & chips. They also had some winter hats & gloves & cool bags with different teams on them. They had The Red Sox, Celtics & Patriots. Circle K makes it easy to grab whatever you need & get on with your busy life.

So go to your local Circle K & see what fun items you can find & pick up some Mike's Pink Hard Lemonade to support a good cause.

Purity of Elements

I recently won a giveaway for Purity of Elements, Tangerine hydrating body care set. It included a sugar scrub, body oil spray, body lotion, shower cream & a hand cream. I love the scent of these products. My fave is the shower cream, when you rub your hands together it kind of foams. I love foams & the oil spray is great too. The only bad thing is when I use the sugar scrub, the shower gets really slippery, so I have to wipe it down when I'm done in the shower. Stop by their Facebook page. Purity of Elements Facebook

Novica review

Novica is a company that works with National Geographic. This website is fair trade & works with Artisans from all over the world. The site sells handmade items like home decor, clothing, handbags & jewelry. They contacted me to see if I wanted to do a review. I chose a pair of Owl plates. I love owls & the colors on this plate are so pretty together.

They definitely add a pop of color to our hutch. Most of the items in our hutch are for show.

The plates arrived well packaged & on time. There was a post card note from the artist that made the plates. They are well made & sturdy.
I love purple & amethyst & they have beautiful Amethyst dangle earrings. Scarves are really big right now. I have about 10 scarves that I've been wearing a lot. Novica has
Silk scarves of Indonesia.
I am very happy with the items that I received & will be ordering more items in the future. Check out the Novica website to see what treasures you can find.

Glade Wax Melts review

I won Glade's sweepstakes that they had last month. They sent me a sample package of Fresh Berries & Wild Raspberry Wax Melts. Each pack lasts up to 96 hours. I love both scents. I keep them in our main bathroom in our night light/fragrance burner. They smell great & aren't overpowering. Some scents give me a headache if they are too strong.

Polly Pockets Fashion collection set review

I saw a promotion from Mom Central to do a survey after I receive a Polly Pockets kit if I qualified. They ended up picking me to sample 1.

We received Lea. She came with 20 pieces of clothing, including 2 purses, a headband, shoes, shirts, skirts, shorts etc...

She's been changing her everyday. I think she's pretty cute, since she has reddish hair & green eyes like a certain Drama Queen's Mum.

Birthday in a Box, Pinata review

If you are planning your child's birthday party, Birthday in a Box has birthday party kits that you can order. They have different themes & in the kit you receive napkins, plates, cups, a tablecover, spoons, forks etc... Tara's 6th birthday was in July & she decided that she wanted a luau them. So we ended up picking a Birthday in a Box, pinata kit & got a cute hula girl.

I loved the flowers in her hair & her cute flip flops (didn't really get them in this photo). The kit came along with a 3 lb bag of candy & a blindfold for the kids to wear, that was kind of pretty. Not all of the kids wanted to wear it.

We thought that the pinata kind of looked like Tara. They looked so cute together.

She really fell in love with her & got really sad when one of her friends finally broke her open. I felt so bad. All that was left was her head. She still has it hanging on our mantel. Originally she didn't want anyone to hit her & just wanted to pull her string, so she could keep her, intact.

Check out Birthday in a Box for your next party.

Easy Canvas prints review

Easy Canvas Prints

I recently received a photo on canvas from Easy Canvas Prints. They have tons of Photos on Canvas to chose from. Some pre-made art canvas' & you can also use your own photos. They have lots of sizes & styles to choose from. I chose the mirror image.

I took this photo with my Ipod touch, so the quality isn't all that great. The face is a little fuzzy. It came out very cute. Right now we have it on our mantel, but eventually we will put it on our bedroom wall. I've been wanting to do a gallery wall. This will be the main photo & we will add photos around it. I can't wait for everyone to see it.
They also have a few sister sites if you are looking for Car Magnets,
Cheap Signs or Banners.
