What I got for Christmas

I love these soaps. The gardenia scent smells really good. That's the 1 in the middle. I'm keeping all of them & refilling them with other soap when these are gone.

These are presents from my friend Anita.

These are some of my presents from my hubby. Sorry about the lighting. Not sure how to get my flash to work on my new phone.

This bear soap from Lush is too cute to use.

Too Faced-Born this way eye shadow palette. I love nude/brown eye shadows.

I love my new Sunflower Alex & Ani bracelet. I actually picked it out. I love sunflowers.

Winter in New England

We finally went to a little shop in town & it's really cute. The owner is an interior decorator. I got a few Christmas presents there.

13 years in New Hampshire

Today is 13 years that we've lived in New Hampshire. This year is different than other years. We usually go to the town tree lighting every year, but it was canceled this year like a lot of things. Over the past year we have updated our house a bit. I got sick of our bedroom curtains a few years ago & other stuff, so we just got new curtains & bedding. So we had a bit of a bedroom makeover. It seems a little brighter in there. I'd like to do a few other things. We've also done other stuff. I have some more ideas that we will work on in 2021.

Monthly Goals-December

I can't believe that it's December, but I am so happy to see this year go. I don't like December because it's the month that we usually start getting snow. We will make it through this month & this year.

1. Finish scrapbook pages from this year. Still working on that.

2. Continue purging stuff before the end of the year.

3. Work on not letting the world's problems bother me so much. I feel everything.

4. Start using the elliptical more often. This didn't happen last month.

5. Stretch more & do some deep breathing.

New hair

We had our hair done on Saturday.

The sky looked so weird that day. We were having sun showers, but no rainbow. I was looking for it.

T had her trimmed so the back of her hair is even. She had a bad tangle about a year ago & a chunk got cut out & then she tried to trim it herself. So the back went up higher than the sides

I just had a slight trim, about a half inch & she did long layers in the back & did my eyebrows. I wanted to get our hair trimmed before things shut down again. Hopefully they won't, but it's getting bad here again.

Bath & Body Works mini haul

I got 2 Frosted coconut snowball foaming soaps & 1 Vanilla bean noel soap. They didn't have Sweater weather. I got a Sweater weather wallflower & a free Winterberry Wonder lotion. I might pass that on to a friend for X-mas.

Nail Files. Week # 368

This week I have on OPI-Taylor Blue. It's a teal green. I was going to wear a different OPI teal, but it was a lumpy & I added paint thinner & it didn't help, so I threw it away. It's called "Is that a Spear in your Pocket"? I'll have to get it again sometime. I really liked it.

Friday Favorites. 11.20.20

Another week gone. The end of the year is really flying by. The days go fast & I feel like I can't get everything done. I really need to make more to-do lists.

1. I got this earring from Etsy for my Daith piercing. It's so pretty. I had the same piercing in my ear for 20 years. Well it was a ring with a ball, so I have changed the balls to different colors. This is a pic from the shop.

2. Viktor & Rolf-Flowerbomb perfume. I got a sample of this in the Sephora play box a few months ago & I really liked it. So I got the purse size spray. It smells so good. I've been buying the mini's lately. They last about 10-12 months for me. I can't see spending $80 on a perfume & I probably would never use it up.

3, New bedding. I want to do a makeover for our room. We got a gray blanket & it has the white sherpa on the other side. That really doesn't show. I turn the top part down a little so you can see it. We will be getting new curtains. We've had these for about 13 years & I've hated them for around 9 or 10 years. They do match the blanket though.

I had picked out another comforter set, but right when I put it on the bed my cat started scratching it. So we took it off the bed & folded it up & we're going to return it. I really liked it too. It was $80, so my hubby said he doesn't want it to get ruined. Not sure why he was doing that (my cat) or if he would stop. This is the 1 that I will be returning.

Have a nice weekend.
