Yay, he shaved

Hubs grew his go-tee a few months ago. I hate it (he had it when I met him). I've never liked facial hair. Even when I was a little, guys with facial hair made me cry (this guy Dave, that my parents knew, made me cry everytime I saw him). I think the facial hair makes Anthony look much older. Especially since he now has white hairs in his beard too. I don't mind him growing it for a few months. I usually tell him to grow it over the Winter. Anyway, we had a deal going. If the Patriots lost he'd have to shave. So they lost & he shaved this morning. Woohoo. I have my cute hubby back.

What I'm reading

I just got this book yesterday from the library. The book finally came in. I haven't started to read it yet, but I can't wait. I love the way she writes her books. Lets see how long it takes me to finish it. A month? 2?

Bare Minerals make-over

My friend Jessica & I went to get make-overs @ Bare Esentuals today. It was a lot of fun. I went in with no make-up. I think it came out really good & I ended up buying a "get started" kit. The girl gave me this sheet with everything that she used on me.

Corn maze

We went to our 1st ever corn maze today @ a farm with our playgroup friends. It was a lot of fun. We went into the store after & got some strawberry milk & a few veggies.

Mom cave

I like the idea of this.

My hubby has a Man-room downstairs with all Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins & Celtics stuff. I have my craft room (really the guest room), but it would be nice to have a place to hang out with my friends when they come over. We really don't have the room to do it, other than in my office. I found this on the Homegoods website.

Not quiteWW~Leave wreath

We put this together at the Farmer's market that we went to last Sunday. They handed us the kit & we glued it together. It was really windy & we lost parts of some of the accorns. So I need to make some tops for them. We have it inside our front door. So it doesn't get ruined from the weather.

Food fest

There was a farmer's market in our mall parking lot today. The only thing I bought was a whoopie pie from a local bakery. We've lived here for almost 3 years & it's not far from our house & I've never stepped a foot inside there. I hear their donuts are awesome.

All the free stuff we got.

Kidgets gave Tara a backpack filled with things (the red, yellow, blue & green bag)

The balloon guy. He was awesome. I'd love to get him to do a party sometime.

Waiting in line for a balloon.

She popped 1 of the wings on her butterfly, so we waited in line again to ask if we could get another 1. The guy ended up making me a flower since I waited in line again, he said I could have just came up to him & asked. Never thought of that.

Check your local Simon mall website for events. Ours has been having lots of fun things going on. Lots of coupons & freebies. Kidgets has fun things too. The next event is 10-30.

Eight is Enough

Sprinkles @ http://butterfly-wyldechylde.blogspot.com tagged me with 8 questions.

The rules are simple enough: Answer 8 questions, come up with 8 new questions and tag 8 people.

My questions from Sprinkles:

1. Have you ever seen a ghost? If you have, what's the story behind it? Um, I think I did, but not sure. I was in the basement of my friend's house & was walking back from the bathroom & there was a laundry room with no one in it, but I saw a shadow. I also always felt like I was being watched when we sat near a certain window too & was told that they had seen ghosts outside the window.
2. What is your most embarassing moment? I think my most embarassing moment was when I was at our local park this Spring & I fell off of the monkey bars. I was holding Tara up to hang from them & decided to stand on a stool next to it. I realized I couldn't get her down while standing up there & she started to fall, so I leaned over & I landed on my face. She fell too, but was fine. I had my glasses on & was bleeding & had scratches all over my face. I'm not sure if anyone saw, but I was still really embarassed. It was just a dumb thing that I did.
3. What was your best job and why? Never had a job that I liked.
4. What was your worst job and why? My last job. Things got bad when I got preg & they ended up making me work pretty much 2 full-time jobs. 1 girl quit & 1 got in an accident & that only left me to do everything. I had 3 anxiety attacks & they had no sympathy for me at all.
5. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the $? I would have a house built in a warm state & have another 1 built here in NH. Help out family & friends that need certain things, put some in our savings & donate some to charities.
6. Have you met any celebrities? If you have, what's the story behind it? I've met lots of bands over the years. The 1st band I met in 1983 & that started my days of meeting bands.
7. What is your favorite childhood memory? The different vactions that we took. I loved going to Virginia every July for 2 weeks & I met my best friend there in 1976.
8. What's your biggest regret? My ex-fiance

My questions for you:

1. What type of car do you drive?
2. What is your fave perfume (s)?
3. What countries have you visitied?
4. How old were you when you got your driver's license?
5. How many states have you lived in?
6. Do you have any tattoos?
7. What is your fave season?
8. How long have you been blogging?
