Craft fair

We went to a craft fair today. I had a lot of fun. We bought a cool wreath. We already put it over the fireplace. It's hard to see it in the pic, but it has roses on it & glitter on the bow. I got some fudge & signed up for a card/stamping class. They also had a Creative memories girl there & Stamping up girl (the 1 that I'm taking the class from). I really want to get more into craft making. I just wish I was more creative.

Yum of the day

I got a limited edition Febreze spray. It's Autumn spice & crisp. It smells so yummy. I love Febreze products. I also just got the Wet jet refill liquid that is lavender & comfort scent. The kitchen smelled so good last night. There's also another limited edition spray for Winter. Winter evening & warmth. I'll be getting that next.

Lip blister

I was wondering if anyone else has a lip blister on their top lip. I'm not sure what the official name is for it or if there is an official name for it. I named it that. Both myself & my daughter have them on our top lip. I guess it makes us unique & something that only her & I have. A birth mark maybe? It's on our top lip in the middle & looks like a bubble. She was born with it & I guess I was. My hubby pointed it out to me 1 day. I never paid attention to it & thought it was normal. He's the 1 that made me realize that we both have them.

Creating Keepsakes

Today I got my 1st mag from my subscription. I'm so excited. I've been going to the library & trying to catch up on old issues. It's 1 mag that I'll keep looking at over & over. I canceled my Glamour subscription & have this 1 instead. I can rent Glamour from the library anyway.

Are we Jon & Kate?

I was watching Jon & Kate the other night & realized we are just like them. Anthony is like Jon real laid back & not in a hurry for anything. Kind of whenever things get done, they get done. I'm like Kate, uptight & naggy & organized. Well I'm not quite as naggy as her or as organized as her. I always want things done now & A does things whenever.

A year ago today

A year ago today we moved out of our cute little house in Wilmington. We stayed at our friends inlaw apt for 5 weeks. I love our new house, but miss our old house still & the old neighborhood. Hard to believe it's been a whole year.

Best taco dip recipe ever (I think so anyway)

Taco dip

1 Large sour cream

1 large cream cheese

1 jar salsa (we use mild)

shredded cheese (put enough on to cover it)

Blend sour cream & cream cheese together in a bowl, until it's smooth. Then put it into a pie plate & spread it out. Put the salsa on top of it, then put the cheese on top of it all.

Put it in the microwave for 8 min, then enjoy.

Not my idol anymore

Back in 1987 Whitesnake had some videos with Tawny Kitaen in them. I was 17 back then & my best friend Kim & I worshiped her. We thought she was so cool. People called me Tawny cause they thought I looked like her (the hair mostly). We even took pics on the hood of Kim's fiancee's car. Well now she's on Celebrity rehab on VH1. It's sad that someone who had it all, can end up like that. Hopefully she can get the help that she needs.

Halloween night

Halloween was pretty uneventful for us. We only had 3 kids come to the door. Hubs stopped on the way home from work & got 2 bags of Halloween candy. We already had a big box of granola bars. I was excited to meet some of the neighbors. It was pitch black out. No street lights on our street. We headed out around 7:30 & only went to 1 neighbor's house. Anthony didn't want to bother people cause it was kind of late. So I was kind of disappointed. I got a few pics of T on the front steps.
