14 year Wedding anniversary
Today is our 14th Wedding anniversary. In a way it seems like longer. We've been together for 17 years. We won't be doing much this year for our anniversary. Ordering food & bringing it home. We got married in Bermuda.

What I'm reading now
This book is about a happy couple. Someone mentions to them that they might be
together another 68 years and panic sets in.
They decide to bring surprises into their marriage to keep it fresh and fun. But in their pursuit of Project Surprise Me—from unexpected gifts to restaurant dates to sexy photo shoots—mishaps arise, with disastrous and comical results. Gradually, surprises turn to shocking truths. And when a scandal from the past is uncovered, they begin to wonder if they ever really knew each other at all.

Nail Files. Week # 352
I'm not sure if I did this combo before. I was in Walmart & I was looking at the Essie polishes & I was thinking how good Play date looks with Watermelon. So I decided to do this combo, since I already had both polishes. The purple is Play date & the pink is Watermelon. Very Summery.

Friday Favorites
We made it to Friday & we have a long weekend. It warmed up yesterday & today is going to be 84. It's going to cool off again this weekend, but we are getting there with the warmer weather. I think we are going to go to Home depot this weekend & get some flowers for the deck & order food to bring home.
1. This cute t-shirt I ordered online from Old Navy. I love it. It's so Summery.
2. My daughter picked these out last week. They are so good. I looked for them at Walmart this week, but they didn't have them.
3. My cute cat Kizzy. She's happy because I had the window open & she loves watching the birds.
4. Last night I had my hair trimmed. Only about a half inch. Our hair salons opened on 5/11. I felt really safe going there. I texted my hair dresser when I got there, she waved me in & greeted me at the door with hand sanitizer. It was just my hair dresser, another hair dresser & another woman (a client). So there were only 4 of us in there. They were only taking cash. My hubby went in after me & had his hair done. They aren't doing eyebrows yet, just trims & root touch ups. Now I need to color my hair soon, it needs it so bad.

Tasty Tuesday-Banana crumb cake
Banana Crumb Cake Recipe
Moist banana cake loaded with sweet crumbs and baked to perfection.
Course Breakfast, Dessert
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes
Servings 12
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter {softened}
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 ripe bananas {mashed} or about 1 1/4 cups
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Crumb Mixture
- 1/2 cup butter {softened}
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
- Combine softened butter and sugar in a bowl and beat until well combined. I used a hand mixer but you can mix it by hand or with a stand mixer. Add mashed bananas, eggs, vanilla and sour cream, mix to combine.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt and stir until just combined {don't over mix}. Pour into the bottom of the greased 9x13 pan.
- In a small bowl combine all of the crumb mixture ingredients. Work the mixture together into small crumbs using a fork. Don't over work the mixture or you will get a paste and it will change the texture of the bread. Sprinkle the crumbs in an even and thick layer over the top of the banana bread batter. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs or is clean. Serve warm or cool and cover. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Recipe Notes
- Cake makes 12 large pieces of crumb cake.
- Make ahead and freeze for up to 3 months.
- Add 1/4 cup of chopped pecans to the crumb mixture for added taste and texture.

Fibro update
I haven't done a fibro update in a while. I feel like I've been extra achy lately. I cut down on a certain pill that I take so I don't know if I need to go back to taking 2. I won't be seeing my doctor for a while. My arthritis has been bothering me bad on my fingers, my feet have been killing me & even my gums hurt. Crazy. Maybe it's the weather change. I know I need to drink more water & get out & walk. The weather isn't that warm & it also rains a lot.

Friday Favorites
Happy Friday everyone. This week was kind of challenging. So I'm glad it's Friday & we can relax a bit.
1. Hallmark candles-I got 2 candles. It was "buy 1 get 1free". I had a coupon so it's was $23. I got Sweet Gelato (it's smells like orange sherbert) & Island escape (coconut & cotton). We had this lit earlier & our house smells like an ice cream shop.
2. Rose Mrs. Meyers hand soap-I'm not big on rose scent. I love roses, but I really don't like rose scented stuff. But I found this in Target & it smells really good. Our roses are just starting to grow leaves. They usually bloom in June here. My birthday month & flower. Our roses are hot pink.

What I'm reading now
I just started this book a week ago. Laura Childs is 1 of my fave authors. This is like the 10th book that I've read by her. Indigo tea shop owner Theodosia Browning & her staff are catering, an unusual Charleston society benefit-a ghost crawl through the spooky grounds of the historic Jasmine cemetery. Sadly the doctor who thought up the event doesn't live to enjoy his own work. He drops dead during the crawl, and it looks like foul play, but how could such a fine, upstanding citizen have any mortal enemies? Theodosia starts stirring things up with her own investigation to find the do-badder behind this most uncharitable act. But before long, chasing down the culprit gets her in hot water up to her neck....
Amyone else like cozy mystery books?
