Well today is my last day of my 21 day cleanse. I've been trying to be gluten-free (it doesn't have to be 100% on this diet), no dairy & nothing spicy (no onions or garlic. I used garlic powder). I tried to do a low fod-map diet. I met with my nutritionist & made up a menu plan. I did this on my own, so I'm not sure how I really did. I don't feel any better. My acid reflux is still really bad. I still have my pains in my lower back, pains in my stomach & muscle spasms in my stomach. So I'm not sure if it's just that I ate something that I shouldn't have (I didn't read every ingredient in everything I ate) or it just isn't the right diet for me. I did this because of my IBS & stomach issues. Starting tomorrow I am suppose to add something new back in. I think I am going to do apples tomorrow. The week after I can add in dairy & can have yogurt. I'm kind of annoyed about it all though. I'm going away to Vermont next Friday & it's going to be hard to only eat certain things. We usually go out to eat & I like to get a drink. I feel like 3 weeks is enough, but if you add things in slowly, you can tell if they bother you more. Not that what I'm eating now isn't bothering me. This is my 4th or 5th cleanse, but this is the longest I've done 1. I think this will be my last 1. I might just cut out 1 thing at a time & then add it back in, but everything at once is hard.
