Early Anniversary lunch

Our anniversary is tomorrow, but Anthony has a few meetings, so we went out today instead. We finally had a Sunny day, so we sat out on a patio at Tuscan market. I got gluten free gnocci. It was okay. It was nice spending time with the hubs. We never go to lunch during the day when he's at work.

 

Random stuff

Well I was going to do Wordless Wednesday today, but I can get my photos to open on here, so I can't add any. I guess this will be Wordful Wednesday. Lately I've had so much trouble with my computer & ipod. I really depend on both of them so much. It's hard when new apps won't upload on the ipod because I don't have enough space or when my computer kicks me out of aol, when I'm in the middle of something because we need a new router. It's hard to get anything done. I didn't do a blog post last night & really don't want to skip 1 tonight because of a moody computer. Anyway, Friday is our anniversary, but Anthony has a few meetings on Friday, so we are going out tomorrow instead. We never go out for lunch during his work-time. My birthday is a month from today. yay. I'm not happy about the getting older part, but I love birthdays.

Happy Memorial day weekend

Still dreaming of Summer here

So we had a cookout today, but it was cool & cloudy & towards the very end it started raining. So I thought I would post some Happy Summer pics to cheer us all up.

 

Nail Files. Week # 125

I've changed my nails a few times this week, but this is what I have on for the weekend. Ulta~Cocktail waitress (red), China Glaze~Splish Splash (blue) & Salon Perfect Silver Sparkler topcoat. I painted my nails the red color for Blood clot awareness day. I'm in a Nail polish group on FB & 1 of the girls had a blood clot & survived. So she asked if we would all wear red nails for the awareness day. I posted it on Instagram, but didn't really do a blog post or anything. I got this blue China glaze yesterday & I'm not sure if it's a matte, it doesn't say matte, but it's not shiny. I really like the color, but I'm not sure why they don't mention that it isn't shiny. It seems like a lot of the China glaze polishes are like that.

Busy days

There's been so much going on lately. Appointments, a fish that might be sick, a cat that went to the vet yesterday for her yearly check-up & had a spot shaved on her back so they could snip a bit of her wart. Poor girl. I have tons of notebooks, to-do list pads, day planners etc... Like 4 calendars hanging up & I still can't keep up with things. Today we were at dance class & I reserved the dance recital tickets on Sunday since we had a bunch of things going on that day. I went up to the desk to get the tickets & the lady told me they don't take credit cards, only cash or check. I guess if I had read the papers about the tickets I would have known that. I sometimes skim through things & miss some details. I only have 1 kid & feel overwelmed with all of her stuff going on.

Summer Vacation~Bar Harbor, Maine

We are going to Bar Harbor again this Summer. We haven't been there in a few years. We went here for our 1st vacation with Tara when she was a baby. It's about 5 hrs away. I'm really looking forward to our trip.

My pen pal Jenn sent me an early b-day package & this Silvery/goldish (kind of like pewter) polish was 1 of them. It's Chanel~ Kaliedoscope & China Glaze~Rose Among Thorns (neon). I wore this for Mother's day.

Jasmine

Tara's fave Disney Princess is Jasmine. Her friend had the costume for 3 years or so & she finally passed it on to her. She's so excited. It's her fave costume ever. I think she looks great in this color too. She's been wearing it around the house the past few days. We also got her 2 dance outfits tonight for her recital. They are awesome.

Summer Dreaming, Bucket list

Last weekend was so nice here. It was warm & quite steamy. But today is gloomy & cool. I'm totally ready for Summer & the warm weather. So here is my Summer bucket list.

1. Salem, MA
2. Portsmouth
3. Boston
4. Minature golf
5. Go out in the canoe
6. Flea markets
7. Yard sales
8. Bike riding (at least once a week)
9. Walk the rail trail (or bike it)
10.  Have some sangria
11. Have a cookout
12. Watch fireworks

Mother's day

 

Skin problems

Lately my skin hasn't been so happy. I'm planning on getting some new cleansers & creams hope they help. I had bad acne for 20 years & now I have rosacea. The roascea doesn't usually act up much, only if I'm really hot (if it's humid or we have the wood stove on) or sometimes if I take a really hot shower or take a nap. But lately it's been getting red once a day & I feel like my face is burning or like I got slapped in the face. So I'm going to try some different products & see if they help. I need to start wearing stronger sunblock too. I should always wear sunblock, but in the Winter end up just using the spf 15 or whatever is already in my powders/creams. I'm also planning on going to the dermatologist soon.

Nail Files. Week # 123

Earlier this week I had on my new Essie~Serial Shopper. I don't really like it much. I'm not a fan of orange, but thought it was more of a coral. I might try to return it, if not just use it as an accent. Maybe when I do polka dots or something.
