Ordered some Orglamix Menthe - Pure Organic Mineral Perfecting Corrector & was sent this sample eyeshadow. I love the color. It looks so pretty on. Loving mineral eyeshadow.
I'm loving my new cupcake pendant that I won. I've been wearing it everyday since I got it.
Apples, Apples, Apples. We have so many apples from going to an apple orchard.
Having a few hrs to myself while T naps. Yay, she's napping today. She hasn't for the past few days.

Have you hugged an Alpaca today?
Today is National Alpaca day. I've been wanting an alpaca for about 10 years now. We went to a local Alpaca farm today. The owner said that they cost about $60,000 each. So I guess I won't ever been getting 1. I also found out that they only have bottom teeth. They're very sweet animals. They shave their fur & make them into sweaters, mittens, hats, stuffed animals etc...
Oktoberfest giveaway
Years ago my parents use to bring me to Virginia every Summer for 2 weeks. I had best friend twins & we would go to Busch gardens every year. My friends & I would always end up in the Oktoberfest area. We couldn't drink, but it was lots of fun. There were dancers up on a stage & they would sing & dance & come into the audience & pull people up to dance with them. We sit at the long tables with people that we didn't know & always get pizza.
Oktoberfest is coming up. Oktoberfest is a 16 to 18-day festival held each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, running from late September to the first weekend in October. It is one of the most famous events in Germany and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the Munich event.

Lately...
*I've been thinking of changing my hair color. Not sure to what. I don't like my hair blonde & I don't like it darker either. Maybe add some golden highlights to it. I haven't mentioned it to the Hubs yet.
*I've been loving Cinnamon scented candles & things. I've always loved cinnamon, but lately I've been burning my new tart burner everyday.
*Been wanting a better camera with a better zoom lens on it. I love my camera because it's tiny & I can carry it in my purse (& it's pink), but I really would love to start taking better photos. My last 2 cameras with zoom lenses broke, so that's why I got the little camera that I have. I dropped 1 of the cameras with the lens out & it never worked again My last camera Tara pulled onto the floor & that was it for that 1. I figure having a camera with the lens built in is good for me being clumsy & good for having a toddler. But 1 of my friends has an awesome camera & her pics come out soooo good.
* Been using more body lotions & face creams lately.

Yay, he shaved
Hubs grew his go-tee a few months ago. I hate it (he had it when I met him). I've never liked facial hair. Even when I was a little, guys with facial hair made me cry (this guy Dave, that my parents knew, made me cry everytime I saw him). I think the facial hair makes Anthony look much older. Especially since he now has white hairs in his beard too. I don't mind him growing it for a few months. I usually tell him to grow it over the Winter. Anyway, we had a deal going. If the Patriots lost he'd have to shave. So they lost & he shaved this morning. Woohoo. I have my cute hubby back.

Corn maze
Mom cave
I like the idea of this.
My hubby has a Man-room downstairs with all Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins & Celtics stuff. I have my craft room (really the guest room), but it would be nice to have a place to hang out with my friends when they come over. We really don't have the room to do it, other than in my office. I found this on the Homegoods website.

Food fest
There was a farmer's market in our mall parking lot today. The only thing I bought was a whoopie pie from a local bakery. We've lived here for almost 3 years & it's not far from our house & I've never stepped a foot inside there. I hear their donuts are awesome.
All the free stuff we got.

Eight is Enough
Sprinkles @ http://butterfly-wyldechylde.blogspot.com tagged me with 8 questions.
The rules are simple enough: Answer 8 questions, come up with 8 new questions and tag 8 people.
My questions from Sprinkles:
1. Have you ever seen a ghost? If you have, what's the story behind it? Um, I think I did, but not sure. I was in the basement of my friend's house & was walking back from the bathroom & there was a laundry room with no one in it, but I saw a shadow. I also always felt like I was being watched when we sat near a certain window too & was told that they had seen ghosts outside the window.
2. What is your most embarassing moment? I think my most embarassing moment was when I was at our local park this Spring & I fell off of the monkey bars. I was holding Tara up to hang from them & decided to stand on a stool next to it. I realized I couldn't get her down while standing up there & she started to fall, so I leaned over & I landed on my face. She fell too, but was fine. I had my glasses on & was bleeding & had scratches all over my face. I'm not sure if anyone saw, but I was still really embarassed. It was just a dumb thing that I did.
3. What was your best job and why? Never had a job that I liked.
4. What was your worst job and why? My last job. Things got bad when I got preg & they ended up making me work pretty much 2 full-time jobs. 1 girl quit & 1 got in an accident & that only left me to do everything. I had 3 anxiety attacks & they had no sympathy for me at all.
5. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the $? I would have a house built in a warm state & have another 1 built here in NH. Help out family & friends that need certain things, put some in our savings & donate some to charities.
6. Have you met any celebrities? If you have, what's the story behind it? I've met lots of bands over the years. The 1st band I met in 1983 & that started my days of meeting bands.
7. What is your favorite childhood memory? The different vactions that we took. I loved going to Virginia every July for 2 weeks & I met my best friend there in 1976.
8. What's your biggest regret? My ex-fiance
My questions for you:
1. What type of car do you drive?
2. What is your fave perfume (s)?
3. What countries have you visitied?
4. How old were you when you got your driver's license?
5. How many states have you lived in?
6. Do you have any tattoos?
7. What is your fave season?
8. How long have you been blogging?

Mama day
My hubby & daughter went camping overnight today. This is the 1st time in 3 years that I've been home overnight alone. I have a yucky cold, but was so excited cause I could get a bunch of things done. I went to a craft fair today & an apple orchard & bought a huge Mum plant & 2 mini pumpkins (1 white & 1 orange). I vacuumed, pulled out a bunch of my Summer clothes, organized T's clothes a bit, changed the cat box, painted my nails, picked up the house & it stayed clean, watched 2 episodes of Housewives of NJ (I have 2 left) & am watching "Couples Retreat". I also thought I broke the vacuum cleaner, the upstairs toilet is not working right & my kitty is peeing on the floor (I'm a bit worried about her & calling the vet on Monday). I think we all need a little alone time once in a while.

Sunny Sunflowers
Today I was driving down the street, not far from my house & drove by these awesome sunflowers. Of course, I had to get some pics. Great photo-op. I pulled into a parking lot, turned around, did a U-turn & then pulled over. I asked Tara if she thought Mama was crazy & she said "Oh no". Whew. So I got out & took a few pics. Sunflowers have always been 1 of my fave flowers & I hate the color yellow. I'm even trying to grow 1 on my deck.

One tough Mama
A few months ago, I started driving the hubs car. He's had it since 2004, but I just started driving it recently. He has an SUV (Hyndai Santa Fe). I was joking with him saying that I feel like a tough girl driving a big truck. I know, it's not a monster truck, but I still feel tough looking down on people. haha. I went shopping yesterday alone & had so much fun. This is me (in his car) in the Kohls parking lot. Got some cute tops & a butterfly necklace that I love.

Mommy & Me Monday
I love this pic. It was taken yesterday at the Italian feast. I think you can see how are eyes look alike in this pic (they're the same shape). She looks a lot like me when I was her age, but I had blonde hair & blue eyes.
