Today is our 4 year wedding anni

Here are a few pics from our wedding day. The best day of my life.

Cutting the cake. I was so thin back then & Anthony looked so young. Aww.

The cake. It looked better than it tasted. I wanted the flowers to be a darker blue, like Laura's dress & also wanted the bows dark blue. We had to make all of the arrangements by e mail.

The weekend so far

I went to a scrapbooking crop night with 1 of my friends on Friday night.

I haven't driven at night in about 2 years (I can't see at night good). This is me driving home.

I bought these cute girlie papers at the store.

This 1 below is Dear Lizzy. I think I'm going to add it to my plain old white shade in my craft room. It's fabric. I think I'm going to have to go buy another 1 1st.

I finished 6 pages. A few of them need some finishing touches.

Saturday we went to a yard sale @ my friend's house & I got this cute margarita glass.

It even has a worm in it.

We went over to our friend's Laura & Walter's house today.

Marion & Jay also came. It was so nice to see them.

Cool shake for a hot holiday weekend

I found this recipe in All you magazine's June 18th issue. I haven't made it yet, but plan on making it soon. I'm also thinking of using lowfat oreos, 1% milk & lowfat ice cream or frozen yogurt.



Cookies-and-cream milk shakes


Prep Time: 5 minutes

Yield: Serves 2Cost per Serving: $0.95

Ingredients

5 chocolate sandwich cookies such as Oreos
2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
1/4 cup milk

Preparation

Place 3 cookies in a ziplock bag. Seal bag and crush cookies with a rolling pin. In a blender, combine ice cream and milk. Blend until smooth. Add crushed cookies and pulse a few times just to blend. Pour into 2 tall glasses and garnish each with a cookie (or a dollop of whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, if desired).

Cocktail napkin swap

Pink Martinis & Pearls is having a cocktail napkin swap.
I got my package today & I got these cute napkins below. I'll be using them for my next Girl's night @ my house. I'm hoping to get some for my swap partner tomorrow & also get them mailed out tomorrow.

New firepit

Last week when Anthony was off from work he built a firepit. Yesterday he burned a ton of wood in it from all the branches that fell down over the Winter & Spring.

He found this cute frog while he was making the firepit.

His go-tee is back. Hopefully not for long.

Looking forward to lots of cookouts & smores around the firepit this Summer.

Last Thursday & Friday hubs was off from work, so we went walking a trail near us & got this cute pic. It's a great trail with nice scenery. A guy riding a bike warned us that there was a fox roaming around, but we didn't see him. I was hoping for a picture op. We did see tons of chipmunks. They're so cute.

Yummy lip treats

Today I went to the mall & got my free lipgloss from Aerie for being an A-list member. It has yumberry & acai berry in it. It's a pretty pink shimmer. I also went into Lush & got a Bubblegum lip scrub. Aerie also has some mini Essie nailpolishes. They had a cool fluorescent pink.

1st time ever on a motorcycle

My Dad was visiting yesterday & it was a beautiful day. So I talked Anthony into taking me for a ride on his motorcycle. He got it about 3 years ago. I was preg, then had a young baby & just never had a chance to go for a ride. We just went around the block & thought it was a lot of fun. He had never riden his bike with someone on it.

I really like the pic below. It's a great action shot.

Garage sale'n Sunday

Debbie over @ http://debbie-debbiedoos.blogspot.com/ started a new Sunday blog party. I'm joining it this week. Post any garage sale, yard sale, craft fair etc... finds. Not sure if I'll be able to go to yard sales every week. Most weekends we have other things going on.

I got this Vanity @ a yard sale yesterday for T. It was only $5. I also got her some clothes.

After the yard sale I went to a craft fair. I spent so much $. Got some banana bread, a brownie, orange cream dip (I think I'm going to make my 1st pie ever with it), a cute glass heart bracelet (that already broke) & some hot dip for A.

I got this gorg necklace below. It's hard to see the detail. It is blue pearls & there's Austrian crystal on the silver part & an Austrian crystal shell. My Mom is going to steal it from me when she sees it.

I love to find all-in-1 websites. Sites that sell a little bit of everything. CSN stores is just that place. They have everything from a sleeper sofa to baby & kids items. We've been looking for a firepit for our yard since we cut down a bunch of trees in our yard & have a lot of room to entertain in now. I love this fire pit.

I also love this mixer. It would look great in my kitchen.
