3. Do tot school at least 3x a week with T
4. Keep things organized
5. More Girl's nights out (or days out)
6. Scrapbook in different colors
7. Scrapbook 1 page a week
8. Keep exercising everyday
9. Surround myself with positive people
10. Get rid of any negative people in my life

Why am I so clumsy/Been 1 of those days

Well last night I was putting a glass in the dishwasher & smashed it. We now have 1 left. We had a set of tall glasses, short glasses & 2 diff sets of wine glasses that all matched. The tall glasses were very thin. I was thinking that I wanted to get a new set (since we had 2 left & now only 1). Then today I woke up at 4am with a headache & a neckache. So I got on the computer (of course). At least I got to sign in to SITS early. Still have the headache. I'm trying to get ready for tonight. I went to move T's little table over near the tv (not too close) & the leg of the table smashed 1 of our wall sconces into pieces (part of a set). So there is glass all over. I got it all up (I think so anyway. I vacuumed). So I turn around & T has dark purple lips, teeth & her tongue too. She ate 1 of her crayons. So she got a time out & now she's eating lunch late cause I had to clean up the glass 1st. I'm trying to straighten my hair at the same time as all of this is going on. Boy, do I need a drink. Hopefully my headache will be gone before we go for dinner. New years goals post coming in a little while. When I get things under control here. haha.

New Years eve isn't what it use to be

Now that I'm older I don't care much what I do for New years eve. It use to be such a big event when I was younger. Finding something sparkly to wear & making plans to go out. Now I'm lucky if I'm even up past 9pm. We are going out to a restaurant with our best friends & having margaritas & coming back to our house.

2010 (where were you 10 years ago?)

What are your plans for 2010? Does anyone have anything big going on this coming year? The main thing here is I turn 40 in June. Ugh. We're thinking of going to Montreal & maybe Quebec city again. I have to work on mine & T's passports if we do go there. Then T turns 3 in July. Aww, Summer, I can't wait till Summer (Spring either). What do we call 2010 anyway? one oh (just wrote it like that so you'd know what I was saying)? I've heard people call it twenty ten. Hard to believe that it was 10 years ago that we were all worried about our computers crashing & stuff. 10 years ago I lived in MA with my roomie, Renee & was ready to get laid off from my job that I was @ for 12 years. They moved to TX & I decided to not go. We all didn't end up getting laid off till that Oct. I still talk to 2 of my friends from that job.

A New home for my pretties

My hubby got me some storage for all of my nailpolishes (yes, I collect them) for X-mas. I have these in our linen closet in our bathroom. The bottom drawer on the left is just for my OPI's & Sephora OPI's.

We made a red velvet cake today. It has yummy buttercream frosting. Got a lot done today. Already did my nails (Sephora OPI, Absinthe makes the heart. It's a teal with glitter), wrapped some pressies. Still have to vacuum & dust, shower & give T a bath. We're skipping her nap today hoping she'll fall asleep early tonight, so we can do all the presents under the tree without her waking up. I might just lay on the couch with her in a little while, so she can at least rest.

Today I was getting out of the shower & T's shampoo bottle fell on my foot. It hurt so bad & still does. I couldn't really get a good pic of it. If you look on the right side, sort of in the middle you can see the blue/purple bruise. It's blue with purple specks. It hurts to stand on it. Only I would get injured by a shampoo bottle. So I'm still going shopping tomorrow & hoping my boots don't hurt it too much.

Getting itchy to do a swap

The past week I've been seeing a lot of people showing off their Santa swaps. I didn't do a Santa swap cause I knew I would be too stressed out to have to mail another package. So I'm really hoping to do a swap in January. Maybe a Valentine's 1. Let me know if any of you hear about 1. I did a Valentine swap last year & it was a lot of fun & I got some really cute things.

I think I've bought 15o cartons of egg nog so far this season. Since the beginning of Nov. We love it in our house. I buy the Hood light in the green box.

Below I think this is called a Santa chain. I had never heard of it, but Anthony said he use to make them in school. It's hard to see in the pic, but it's just paper linked together & he wrote #s on them, each day T takes 1 of the links off & counts down the days till Christmas. 9 left.

I've decided to let them grow out. They're driving me nuts. I've only had them for 3 months, but I've realized that I hate my hair in my face & always pin them back anyway.

Baking with Mama 12-11

Today we made corn bread. T is really starting to like baking (too bad I'm not good at it). So she helped me make some bread. It always comes out so crumby. Not sure why. I want to get her a little apron. I saw 1 in Homegoods, but it didn't say what size it was (it was in a package).

Are X-mas pins for Old ladies?

When I was a kid my Mom always wore Christmas pins & collected them. I wore them too. I still have some from when I was a kid. But now I feel like they're for old ladies. I guess I could be considered old by some people. haha. I'm thinking of giving most of my pins to my Mom. Except for a few from when I was a kid & this cute peanut snowman pin that my sis gave me years ago.

I have another blog. It was a family blog, but I don't really think any of my family looks @ it. So I'm thinking of having it as a family blog, but also toddler blog. Adding any cool books, play ideas, kids crafts etc.. I'd like to leave some comments from that blog, but can't seem to figure out how to or if I can. Since Rantings is my main blog. 1st dentist appointment 12-8

T went to the dentist for the 1st time today. I was so worried since she hates having her teeth brushed. She didn't see the dentist, but the assistant counted her teeth, brushed them & then brushed them with flouride. I was so proud of her. She did great. She got a Clifford book & got to pick out a little stuffed bird.

Town tree lighting

Last night we went to the town tree lighting. It was snowing & really cold. I think a lot of people didn't go because of that. We tried to make the best of it. We made this a family tradition last year. We stood near the bonfire for a little while & had free cookies (I had 5 of them. Not sure what my problem is lately. I guess I can blame it on pms this weekend) & hot choc. Then a local church had their free spaghetti dinner with salad & all. We missed the actual tree lighting again this year because we were inside eating. This week is going to be really crazy. We got snow last night. I'll add some pics soon.
