Wedding in Virginia

This August we will be going to VA to go to my friend Peg's wedding. I'm really excited to see her & other friends & family that I haven't seen for a while. Tara & I are going to be in the wedding. I've never been in a wedding other than my own. It will be on the beach & I'm sure really beautiful. Below is a pic of us from 2006 in Atlantic city. I met her on Myspace in 2003.

This Year

We will be celebrating our 9th Valentine's Day.

Celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary in May.

JoJo turns 15 in June.

I turn 42 in June.

Tara turns 5 in July.

In August Hubs & will be together for 9 years.

September T will be starting Kindergarten.

Anthony will be 44 in October.

Pinterest purple

I've always loved purple, but recently I have realized that it is my favorite color. My faves are also blue & pink (all shades). These are some of my fave purple photos from Pinterest.

New year, new hair

Today I went & had my hair trimmed & the girl asked if I wanted my hair to cascade down instead, of hanging straight down. I had bangs cut a few years ago & they are still growing out, so she trimmed some hair longer than them, so it's sort of layered (not sure if that makes sense). She said she was only going to trim 1 & 3/4 inches off the back, but it looks a lot shorter than that. So I'm bummed out & I do this everytime. My regular hair stylest left my place last Summer & I went to a girl at Walmart in Oct or Nov & she cut my hair really crooked. So this girl fixed it, I guess. I think I will stick with this girl now. Once I find someone, I try to always go to the same one.

My word for 2012

Is "Positive". I want to try to be more positive & look at the bright (positive) side of things. Find something good, in something that is not so good.

New Year's eve photos

Last night we were suppose to go to a restaurant called Pochitos, but I found out that they closed down. We ended up at Margaritas. I really don't like that place at all, but we still had fun with our friends.

We let Tara stay up till midnight. I wasn't sure if she would make it, but she did. She's already asking to stay up next year till Midnight. We'll see.

Here's hoping that 2012 will be a good year. Usually my odd years are better than my even years, so not sure how next year will be. 2011 was a really unhealthy year for us. Tara had an ear infection & fluid in the ear for over 2 months. She's going to an ear specialist on Tuesday. My carpal tunnel has been really the past year & my IBS & about 5 other things. So I'm going to stay positive & hope that this coming year will be healthier. I'm going to pick a word to represent the new year. I haven't chosen 1 yet (maybe Healthy will be it), but will soon. So Happy New year to everyone & I hope we all have a happy/healthy new year.

Fun "me" day

Today my Dad picked up T & brought her to his house to sleep over. I went shopping & got some new things. So much fun. I'm wearing the nail stickers & nail polish tomorrow.

I went & had a blonde extension put in. I had been thinking about it for a while & it was a last minute thing.

I stopped at Honeydew donuts & got a cinnamon hot chocolate.

My camera that I ordered came in today (I dropped the other 1, my famous pink camera, 1 too many times & you can't view the photos anymore. So now I have a boring black 1).

So I was going to clean the house & read blogs etc.. & of course hubs got home at 4pm tonight. Err. Hopefully I can get some things done around the house this week, when T goes back to school.
