Birthday Trip
I really want to go away somewhere special for my 50th b-day in June. My 1st choice would be Florida, so we're looking into that. What an awesome way to celebrate turning 50. We're looking into hotels & air fares. I will be so happy if this works out. Fl just makes me smile. We hopefully will get to see my friend while were there. She lives in Daytona. I love the sunshine, lizzards, palm trees, the beaches & so much more.

Make time
It's so hard getting older & starting to lose family & friends that you love. I just lost another Aunt. She passed away last night from a heart attack. I feel really sad. It seems like each year we lose a few more family members. It just makes you really think. About keeping in touch with people & not putting off getting together with people. We all have lives & get busy, but we really need to make time. It also makes me think about being healthier. I haven't done so good so far this year. Still searching for some healthy recipe ideas. Most of my family members have passed away from heart attacks. My Dad has heart issues. It really does make me want to eat different & do more exercise. It will be so much nicer once the weather is better to get out & walk & be more active.

Get organized
I love organizing. This is my 2nd year getting rid of things in my house. I love the feeling of having a full recycle bin or trash can. I also donate clothes & household items. I just got rid of the rest of the newest magazines from 2019. I'm hoping to rearrange my office this year. I'm not sure how because I have big & clunky furniture & not sure where I can move things & have it work. Every few months I go through papers on my desk, lists, magazines & get rid of stuff that I don't need. That will help you keep up with everything.
I'm hoping to get back into meal planning. Right now I am going through Pinterest to find some healthy meals to make this week. I want to pick out about 20 recipes for the rest of the month. We do usually order out once a week or go out to eat. I have a to-do list that has Monday- Friday, weekends & Top 5 & Notes. So I fill that out & write what we are eating for dinner each day. So I know what I'm doing each day. That list pad above is similiar to my list pad.

Reading goal
This year I want to read 12 books. 1 book a month. Sounds easy right? Not so much for me. I only read at night in bed before I go to sleep. I usually start drowsing off & have to stop reading. I only get to read a few pages. I'm still reading a book from December Called "Christmas Sweets" by Joanne Fluke with Laura Levine & Leslie Meier. I don't have a list of books that I want to read yet. Maybe that will be in another post when I figure out what books I want to read.
