Happy Valentine's Day

We didn't do much today. Anthony got me a card, which was a surprise. We're going out to eat on Monday Presidents Day for lunch. So that will be nice.

Valentine Eve

Are you big on Valentine's day? We're not really. My hubby asked me last night if I picked out anything for myself. I told him that I didn't. We usually pick out our own presents. I figured he'd pick out a Patriots shirt & he did, so I'll have to find something that he can get me. We're not going out to eat or anything since it's a Tuesday night. But we are going to Texas Roadhouse on Monday, President's day because he's off. So we will have a lunch date. What are your plans for Valentine's day?

Snow Storm

So it's Sunday night & we are in the middle of another snow storm. They already canceled school for tomorrow. We are suppose to get 12-18 inches. I'm not a fan of the snow or cold weather & I have S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder). I've posted about it before. Pretty much I get depressed in the winter & when it's gloomy. So I'm ready for Spring & sunshine. I've been lighting my salt lamps & candles. I love having lots of lights on. I have some twinkle lights & want to get some more & put them in jars or wine bottles. I know you can buy them like that. I've been writing letters like crazy being stuck in the house. Doing some swaps with people, so waiting for more mail. I don't think we will be getting mail tomorrow. It's sad when I don't get mail because I love doing happy mail & I get fun things other than just bills. It looks like after Thursday it will at least be around 40 degrees out, so that's much better. I can get out & do things. This Winter wasn't bad until this past week, snow storm after snow storm. I guess that is February for you.

Nail Files Week # 289

This week I have on 2 Orly polishes given to me from a friend.So the purple is Dingle Hopper & the pink dots are Magical Voice. I can't wait to try the pink on all by itself.

Stuff & Things

*We had 2 snow days this week. Tara is home today & really bored. Our new tv in the living room isn't working. We were lucky & were getting snow once a week, so it would melt. But this week it seems like we are getting snow every other day. We're suppose to have snow Saturday, Sunday & Monday morning. I'm not a fan of Winter & I don't like snow. I don't ski or snowboard or any of that. There is a 2 hour delay for school tomorrow. We're suppose to get about 12 inches.
*Face time is driving me crazy. My daughter set up her face time to talk to her friend, so everytime I turn around she is in the room with us. lol. I think all she hears is me nagging in the background.
*I haven't been shopping in a while. I really miss it. The snow makes us have to be stuck in the house. I might try to make it to the mall tomorrow. I need some new moisturizer.

Hey, It's Okay

* That we had a Super bowl party & I don't care anything about football. It was fun to see a bunch of crazies watching it. Our team won.
*To be dreading having another snow day on Thursday. We might get 7-10 inches. I can't deal with another long day with a bored kid making a mess of the house. She was off today because of snow.
*To not really care much about Valentine's day. We might go out to eat.
*To not like Lady Gaga at all & wish I missed the half time show. I did go upstairs for a few minutes.

A Few Things

*I hate sports. I find them boring. We had a Super bowl party since the Patriots were in it. But if I were to choose a team that I liked, they would probably be from somewhere Sunny & Warm maybe FL, CA or AZ. Or Maybe I'd pick the teem, by the color of their uniform.
*Life is too short for crappy pizza.
*The kitten bowl is better than the super bowl.
*I'm not too big on Valentine's Day. We might go out to eat.
*I hate Winter clothes. I got rid of a bunch of my scratchy sweaters this year. Can't wait for shorts, flip flops & t-shirts. I love my Summer clothes. Just happy times too.
