Home Sweet Home~5 years

 

5 years ago today we moved to NH. Best move ever. We live about 30 minutes from our old house in MA. I lived in MA for 37 years. I remember the day we moved in & my hubby said he drove by the town hall area, in the moving truck & saw a bonfire & people gathered around it. We said we would go the following year & we have every year since. We are headed there in a little while. Even though it's a rainy/gloomy Saturday. It wasn't easy moving to a new town & state with a 5 month old daughter. I was a new Mom & didn't know anyone. So I joined the Mom club & we are still friends with most of the people in the group. Tara now goes to Kindergarten with some of those kids & dance class & Daisies. I think we picked a good town to grow on in.

Alex & Ani

For a while now I've been seeing women wearing Alex & Ani bracelets. I finally bought my 1st 1 last week. I'm already wanting to go get another 1, especially since they sent me a $5 off coupon for the Hallmark store that I bought it in. They're reasonable. Mine was $24. I love silver, so I'll only get the silver bracelets.

 

They had this feather bracelet in the store & I think it might be the next 1 that I get.

 

I also want my birthstone, Alexandrite for June.

Also this ruby bracelet for Tara's July b-day.

So much fun & positive energy.

Wordless Wednesday~Pink kind of day

Christmas cards

  The Christmas cards are rolling in & I haven't written mine out or even decided which pictures or company I am using for the photo cards. I'm hoping to mail out some of the box cards by this weekend. I'm going to work on them tomorrow. I hate being so busy & so behind in things.

Tastefully Simple party

 

Lately I love having parties because that means that my house gets cleaned really good. haha. So I had a Tastefully Simple party tonight. We got to try a ton of great food. We have a lot leftover too. I'll start my diet in January.

Crazy 1st day of December

 

 

So we got some snow today. Slid down the driveway & came real close to hitting a tree. Long crazy day. Drama with the Drama Queen. She was really in a mood today. I worked on my December Daily book tonight. Not sure exactly what I will put in there for today. Still not loving the cover that much. I want to add the year on the front, but I'm all out of # stickers.
