Purple hair

I had my hubby dye my hair today. I do my hair this plum color once a year usually. I only bought 1 dye though, so I should have gotten 2. So you can see my reddish-golden hair under the top. I might need to get a 2nd 1 & try to go over the lighter color. Not sure if that will make my hair too dry. But the purple will fade once I wash it. It turns out to be more of a reddish-plum. It's a bit harsh where my part is.
