The Day has finally come

It's been a day that I have dreaded for years. My daughter wanted to pick out her clothes that she wore today. We're going to see my hubby's parents & my parents today. So I wanted her to wear something extra cute. Maybe a cute dress or shirt. This is what she picked out.

I've always had fun picking out her clothes, bracelets, necklaces, hair accesories etc.. Everything always has to match. Sometimes I lay her clothes out a week ahead if I know we have something fun going on. So my heart is aching a little bit today. My baby is growing up.

Oh girl, I feel your pain! I had Ava dressed up so cute for the first few years, and now her taste is completely opposite of mine! I think I turned her into a tomboy!!!!! Oh well......

Thanks for the follow - following you from way back! I am not looking forward to the 'I want to wear this' day but I do get tantrums about 85% of the time when I dress her....

My 2 year old is already wanting to pick out her own clothes. I am having difficulty explaining that she can't wear her Tinker Bell jam jams everywhere.

I put Ash's clothes together in outfits in her drawer so she can pick out something that we both like. Hope we can keep it like that for a while! :) Your kid is cute no matter what she wears!
