How are you Brave?

There are so many ways to be brave. We all have so many things going on in our life. Struggles with being a Mom or a wife. Balancing things. To add to that having fibro & chronic fatigue. I have to be brave every day when my whole body is aching & I get a lot of headaches. But you have to push on & make lunches, cook dinner, go food shopping & then sometimes just stay in bed. I take 2 naps most days. But I feel that I am brave because I keep going, pushing forward. Waiting for the next challenge that I have to take on. How are you brave?

Nail Files. Week # 293

This polish is Orly~Royal Navy. I got this nail polish last weekend. In the bottle it looks like it has a shimmer, but when you put it on & it dries you really can't see the shimmer. I was hoping it would stay like that. I have lots of blues this shade, so I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

Stuff & Things

* We got our new cat last Saturday. Our old cat isn't happy at all. She keeps growling. Bianca, the new cat is staying in our bedroom & bathroom. The door in the middle opens to the bathroom. I'm looking forward to letting her out, but we are trying to take is slow.

* I won a wine glass from the animal shelter that we got our new cat, Bianca at. They were doing 8 days of giveaways & I won on day 7. I haven't won anything in a long while.

*I'm impatiently waiting for my 1st Lip Monthly box & the Fabfitfun Spring box. At least I know I'll be getting some happy things in the mail.

Tasty Tuesday-Impossibly Easy Vegetable Pie

Impossibly Easy Vegetable pie

Ingredients:

2 cups chopped broccoli or sliced fresh cauliflowerets
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)'
1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs

 Directions:

1. Heat oven to 400ºF. Grease 9-inch pie plate.
Heat 1 inch salted water to boiling in medium saucepan. Add broccoli; cover and heat to boiling. Cook about 5 minutes or until almost tender; drain thoroughly. Stir together cooked broccoli, onion, bell pepper and cheese in pie plate.
2. Stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour into pie plate.
3. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes.

Mommy & Me Monday

So school vaction week is over. She went back to school today. I have so much to catch up on. Lots of cleaning. She made lots of slime & it's all over the house.

Our New Cat, Bianca

So we were looking into getting a guinea pig or 2, we think they are so adorable, but they need hay & I'm allergic to grass/hay. So we decided to not get them. Anthony said if you really want another pet why don't we just get another cat. So that's what we decided. We went to Salem Animal rescue league in Salem, NH & we picked out a cat named Crumpet. She is 1 years old & seems really sweet. She came up from SC. They have a bunch of high kill shelters there & in other places in the south, GA & TN. It makes me so sad that they are like that & this actually happens in our country. People from NH & MA go down there & get as many animals as they can & bring them back here. I'm so glad that they do that. I think it would be really cool to go with them & rescue the animals. It's a long trip for the pets. They said that Crumpet was in a truck for 16 hours. So about her name, we didn't totally love it & Anthony was whining because he never gets to name anything (lol), so we let him pick an Italian name & we chose Bianca. It means white in Italian. We might keep Crumpet as her middle name, but they said that they just named her that before they sent her up here, so it hasn't always been her name.

This was in the shelter when we 1st met her, so I thought that was pretty special that she was sniffing/kissing Tara.

This was this morning when we were adopting her. She was laying on some papers on the desk.

She hasn't met Kizmet yet, we have to introduce them slowly, so it might be a few days. We have Bianca in our bedroom & there's a door that goes to the bathroom where we are keeping her cat box.

This polish this week is really light. It's a pale sparkly pink. It is an OPI Hello Kitty~Charmmy & sugar.

March Goals

It's a new month & I made it through all of the months I hate, September-February. So hopefully my mood will feel better & I can get more done.

* To get out & walk or do the eliptical.
* Buy some plants & flowers for the house.
* Have my hair trimmed. It's been 5 months since I've had it trimmed & it needs it.
* Get together with some crafty friends & be creative.
* Maybe have a date night?
