Dance recital

It was so awesome to see her up on stage. I was so proud of her. She did great. It made me wish I had done something like this when I was a child, but I can experience all of this through her.

Strawberry picking

We went Strawbery picking yesterday at Sunnycrest farms in Londonderry with some friends. We hadn't been there for a while. We had a lot of fun.

 $18 dollars later. Eek. I thought Anthony was going to be mad, but we are going to freeze a bunch of them.

Nail Files. Week # 23

I'm a little late posting this tonight. We were really busy today. I painted my nails a few days ago & they are starting to chip a bit. I thought I would do something a little different. I saw a pic with similiar colors on Pinterest. Today we went for Tara's dance recital & 1 of the Moms asked if I let Tara paint my nails. I said "no, I did it". She was really surprised. She said that's how her nails look when she lets her daughter do her nails. Different colors & glitter. She said "You're too funny". I didn't want to go into the story of how I blog & do Nail files every week. Anyway, the yellow is Sally Hansen, Hard as Nails in Hard Lemonade, the teal is Milani neon, Fresh Teal & the purple is Icing, Pinot Noir.

Children's Museum of NH

Yesterday we went to The Children's museum in Dover, NH. It's a bit of a ride from us (an hr). We've been looking for things to do on rainy days. This is a great way to spend a rainy day. We got that Breathe NH book & it had a coupon for this museum in it.

Wordless Wednesday~Flowers

Hair chalk

I really like the way hair chalk looks. I noticed 1 of our local hair salons does that. I'd like to do it myself instead of paying someone to do it. I think my daughter has some of this chalk. She went to a birthday party in January & they had some. Her hair looked cute. I love colorful things & being a little bit different from all the other Moms.

1st concert of the year

We're going to see the band Shinedown on 7-6. I'm so excited. They're the only band that I really wanted to see this year. I saw them way back in 2005. I loved their 1st album, but the past few years they've really become my fave band (after Def leppard of course). If you are into hard rock music check them out. They have a new cd out called Amaryllis.

Bangs

Lately I've been thinking of cutting bangs. I haven't had bangs in 19 years & really don't want to look 16 either. I always think things look good on other people & then when I do it to my hair it doesn't look too great. I cut long bangs a few years ago, but they drove me crazy because I hate my hair in my face. Then earlier this year I had angles cut to frame my face, but I wear my hair curly a lot when it is warm out (I don't blow dry my hair when it's warm out) & you can't even tell that it's angled. Now I'm thinking of bangs, but I just don't know. I hate trying to figure out what to do with my hair & being afraid that I'll reget it after. My hair doesn't grow very fast, so it will take forever for it to grow long again.

Strawberry festival

We went to the town Strawberry festival today. It was pouring out all day, so it was good that it was inside. Tara had her face painted for the 1st time ever. She usually has her hand painted. She has blue teeth in the photo from eating a slushie.

June, My Favorite month

I love June (July & August too, but June is my fave). It's my birthday month. So many fun things & even though my b-day isn't till the end of the month I'm always in a happy mood all month long. I still love my birthday even though I'm over 40 now. It's the 1 day out of the year that is just mine. Welcome June, I'm glad to see you again.
