What are your Thanksgiving plans?

We're just keeping it simple & going out to eat. We're going to Cracker barrel. I'm not big on all of the T'giving food. We're having Christmas at our house like we always do, so we figure this would be easier. It will just be us & my parents & A's parents. What are you plans & traditions?

Snotty days

Well today I feel worse than I have all week. I could hardly talk when I got up. I'm in for the day in my pjs. T has a cold too. I don't think she feels that bad. She's still running around & has tons of energy. I decided to show her how to blow her nose. She gets it, but doesn't want to use a tissue. I was in the other room & came in & she had blown her nose all over her face. She litterally had a booger beard & mustache. Eww. I am taking the new Dayquill pills with Vitamin c. I don't think it matters now with the c cause I'm already sick & my new best friend is Puff's plus with Vicks. So lots of lemon tea with honey & orange juice today. I'm gonna go sit on the couch & read some mags & chase the child.

Pretzel hugs

1 bag pretzels

1 pkg. M&Ms

1 pkg. Hershey "Hugs"

Place pretzels on baking stone or sheet. Place a Hug on each pretzel and bake at 200 degrees for about 8 minutes (just watch for the Hugs to melt). Remove from oven and promptly place a couple of M&Ms on each pretzel, pressing into the melted chocolate. Allow to cool before serving. At room temperature, this takes SEVERAL hours. I would recommend making these the day before you plan on eating/delivering. Or you can put them in the refrigerator to speed up the process.

Great Christmas tree shop finds

I got 2 Giant ornaments. We're gonna hang them under the mantle. A fall flag & an 8x8 scrapbook that I'm gonna use as a recipe book of our fave recipes. It was only $1.99 & came with a bunch of stickers & papers & ribbons.

Scrapbook paper set

I ordered a scrapbook paper set from Lakeside.com. It came last night. It's awesome. There's 180 sheets & 84 different designs. It has every season from New years to X-mas. Today I went to a scrapbooking club meeting. The woman who had it at her house was really nice. She has a beautiful house. I only got to do 1 page. Hopefully I'll finish more next Month.

A bunch of things

I figured that I'd put everything in 1 blog today. 1st of all Tara hit JoJo in the mouth with her hand on Sunday night. Jo was acting weird, so we brought her to the vet yesterday. They said that her mouth was swollen & she might have an infection. They gave us antibiotics to give to her. They said she has a loose tooth, maybe more than 1 (not from Tara hitting her). She has to have them pulled & have her teeth cleaned again. She had it done last year for $330-400. This time they said it will be over $500. So we're gonna get a 2nd opinion. She has to go back to the vet next Wed to see how she's doing with the antibiotics. Both Tara & I have colds. My throat is killing me & her nose started dripping today. I think our tv in the living room might be dying. Not sure. Anthony will look at it when he gets home. It keeps turning black & white & then goes back to color & is making a weird noise. So no tv in the living room today. We have our Transiberian orchestra cd on now. Our X-mas labels are in. I like them. I met a girl from the craft fair this morning. She made some mittens for Tara. She didn't have any with her that fit at the fair. They're so cute. I'm sure she won't keep them on.

I don't want to hear the "S" word

We have NECN (New England cable news) on & they're talking about snow up in the mountains & Northern New England. I don't really even want to think about Snow. Since we had such a rough Winter last year, I'm trying not to think about it for this year yet. Hopefully we have another month before it starts snowing here.
