I hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving. We are hosting again this year. Hopefully no drama & everyone can be positive. I hate listening to the arguing, it always ruins every holiday.

Sleepover

Do any other 43, 41 & 44 year olds have sleepovers? My hubby & my 2 friend's hubbies went away this weekend, so my friends slept over on Saturday night. It was lots of fun. We ordered pizza, drank wine, ate chocolate, did girl talk & listened to music.

Nail Files. Week # 99

I just did my nails today. I have on Sephora by OPI~Teal we Meet Again & The Icing~Hey Sailor Boy (glitter on my ring finger & thumb). I  haven't been in The Icing for a while to check out their nailpolish. I think I will go there next week. Some of my fave nailpolishes that I have are from there. Wow, did you guys see that up top? I'm at week # 99 for Nail files.

Snail mail & hand writing

I've loved to write for as long as I can remember. I do to-do lists, notes, lists of everything, Thank you cards etc... Even now with the internet, I'd rather write a snail mail letter than send an e  mail or hand write a to-do list or mail a Thinking of you card.. I also mostly handwrite  in cursive because people can't read my printing. My a's & e's. My daughter wants to learn how to do cursive. They don't teach it in school anymore. So I'm hoping that I can teach her. I want to keep all that alive with her, handwriting Thank you cards & notes to people. She makes most of the birthday cards for her friends. She's already had a few pen pals, but hasn't heard from them in a while. She also writes in journals.

New England Minute~Smolak farms

Tonight we went on a field trip with Tara's Daisy troop. We went to Smolak farms in North Andover. It was so cold out tonight, but we did a hay ride & they explained how they planted Christmas trees. They have a farm & we got to see some animals. They have a cute store too. At the end of the field trip we got apple cider & apple cider donuts. They also gave us each 2 baby X-mas trees that we could plant in our yard.

 

Look the turkeys have a pet rubber duckie.

 

  This baby sheep was born at this farm. Her name is Lilly.

Catch up time again

So I got back from Vermont tonight. Last week I was almost caught up on things from when we were away in FL. Now I have to get caught up again since I was away for 3 days. I got 17 scrapbook pages done. Not as many as I usually do. I will post some on here this week. This coming week is going to be really busy. Food shopping tomorrow, field trip with Daisies on Tuesday, Nutritionist on Wed, Dentist Thursday & 2 dance classes on Thurs night.

So Fall Girl's scrapbooking weekend is here. We'll be in Vermont this weekend. I'm so excited to get away. I know, we were in Florida 2 weeks ago, but that was lots of rushing around & this vacay will be without kids.

Dance class sneak peek week

Tara started at a new dance school this Fall. You can't go in the class & they don't have monitors. The school that she went to for the past 2 years had monitors, t least in the waiting room. So this new school does a peek week, where you can go in & see what they do in class & take photos. I didn't get any real great 1s. But some are kind of cute. she's always very serious when she is doing things, t-ball, dance, parades etc...
