Random thoughts

1 of my pet peeves is when the candle gets too low & the lighter can't reach the wick. I really hate that. We've bought some of those longer lighters & for some reason they never work. Today I got 1 of those new Glade soy candles. I had a $4 coupon so it was only 50 cents. yay.

Am I the only person in the world that doesn't text? I have no interest in it either.

Halloween already?

Last week I said that I didn't have the Halloween spirit yet. I know it's way early, but I saw this in X-mas tree shop & had to get her. I already have her out, but might put her away till October. I'm not doing much Halloween decorating this year.

Watch what you tell your kids

Recently I wrote a post about Dragonflies & how I grew up being afraid of them & how I thought they were called Sewing needles. Today my Dad is over helping A cut up some wood. We were out on the deck & my Dad says "Look @ the sewing needles" (dragonflies). So I say "What? is that how I got that? Did you teach me that they were called Sewing needles"? So he said "Yeah, they sew up your lips". I guess he told me that when I was little. So watch what you tell you kids because they really do take you seriously & believe what you say.

Wordless Wednesday~Awesome sky

new watch

I got this watch @ Cracker barrel the other day. I thought it was such a cool idea. You pick the face that you want (they have tons of choices) & then pick the bracelet/band. They also have tons of colors & styles for the bands. I haven't worn a watch in a few years, but am sick of having to look @ my cell to find out what time it is. I want to go back & get different colors & styles to match different outfits.

Most of the time when I tell my hubby that I have an idea, he says "Uh, oh". But this time it was a really good idea. Since we cut down a lot of the trees in the yard it's really too bright. So I remembered that we had bought an umbrella for the beach last year (that we never used). So he brought it up & it fit perfectly in the center of the table. So hubby, the next time I have an idea don't be scared.
