Def Leppard Concert

Last night we went to see Def Leppard, Tesla & REO Speedwagon. We only ended up seeing 1 song by Tesla because we got there late & they went on a bit earlier.So it was Tara's 1st Lep concert (not her 1st concert). They have been my fave band since 1983.

Fun cup, but it really didn't taste that good.

Kizmet Sassy

Just thought I'd do an update on our her. She is doing great. Always being active playing with your mouse & other stuffed toys. That seems to be her fave. September will be a year that we adopted her. It went too fast. She's such a sweet & funny girl.

We took some cute pics at the balloon festival on Saturday. We did some selfies too, of course.

New England Minute~Hot air balloon festival Quechee, Vermont

We went to the Hot air balloon festival in Vermont yesterday. They have it every year on Father's day weekend, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. People come from all over to see it. We saw license plates from New York, Maine, Ontario, Canada, MA & more.

Getting ready to go up in the balloon. We did the tethered 1. So you go up, but you are hitched. You don't go up too high, but get to see what it is like. It was harder than I thought it would be getting in & out. We had to climb on the lady with the short gray hair's knee to get in the basket. They let people out on the other side as we were getting in. It was $20 per person to do the tethered 1 & about $250 per person to go up in 1 to float off. haha.

We're in there, you can kind of see the color of our shirts.

Last Day of 3rd Grade

 Today was the last day of school. She was pretty sad last night. I didn't think I'd hear her say she was sad because all year I've been hearing "I hate school" or "I don't want to go to school". She met 3 new friends this year & she loved her teacher. But I'm sure next year she will have new kids in her class that she will become friends with.

Newish school

We went to check out some books last night from T's newish school. She'll be there full-time with all of her friends. Some 3rd grade, 4th grade & 5th grade. She was at the high school this year in the 3rd grade area downstairs. She loved it there & will miss it. I think it will be nice for her to be with all of her 4th grade friends. I can't believe she is going to be in the 4th grade in the Fall.

We took a few pics on Snapchat the other night. I'm new to snapchat, so I'm not sure how to get rid of that bar on the pic. I've been having fun with it.

School's almost out.

Hubs is finally home from Malaysia.  He got home around 8:30pm, I was so excited to see him. It had been a long week. So now we have the last week of school. We have to go get some library books out for the Summer. She'll have to return them in the fall. Wednesday, she has a field trip & Thursday night we have Brownies. The Moms will be staying & helping with a scrapbook page. Then Friday is half day. Hoping that we will keep busy this Summer & do some fun things. Playdates & fun things. Here's hoping.

Hip Hop Dance recital

Today was Tara's dance recital. She only did 1 class this year, hip hop. She might do 2 classes next year, not sure yet. Anthony was away in Malaysia, so he couldn't be there.
