In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you'd like to participate with your own question on your own blog, head on over to An Island Life to link up and join the fun! http://islandlife808.com
If you're married, do you still have your bouquet?
I still have mine, but it doesn't look so good. We got married in Bermuda & I didn't get to preserve it.
Now.

Hmmm so I've been married twice. The first time my flowers were huge and fake and dare I say...HIDEOUS. I eventually threw them out. The second time and hopefully last time... we eloped so there were no flowers involved. I do still have the snowboard I used for our after ceremony snowboarding trip.
ReplyDeleteI don't still have my bouquet...but it's a sweet thought!
ReplyDeleteno i wish i saved it though....following now...hugs
ReplyDeleteno, it's gone already...but I still have the photo:)
ReplyDeleterather than tossing my bouquet as part of the wedding reception, i gave it to a friend's girlfriends. my friend proposed to her a few days back. she appreciated that bouquet.
ReplyDeletethinking back, i don't regret giving the bouquet away but i wished i picked a single flower from it to keep for myself, maybe press it or something ...
yes...but no. lol. Mine is a very sore subject for me. We went to pick it up the day of our wedding and it was nothing that I had wanted. I was heart broken, I had given the lady an exact picture and everything. So I literally spent 80 dollars on something I refused to carry. We had a fake one to use for the toss and that it the one I ended up using and I still have that one. The original one tho....I do not have...because I hate it :)
ReplyDeleteI actually don't remember what ever happened to it after the wedding day.
ReplyDeleteI actually do still have my bouquet! But that is because my sister and I made them from silk flowers. I love that I still have it. I even have hubby's boutonniere and a bridesmaid bouquet.
ReplyDeleteas a matter of fact I do
ReplyDeleteI got married at the county clerks office in a civil ceremony. I didn't have a bouquet.
ReplyDeleteMarried 18 years on Monday. I may have a petrified flower somewhere but definitely not the whole thing!! lol Happy Sits Saturday Sharefest!
ReplyDeleteStopping in from SITS! I no longer have my bouquet. I dried it and wanted to have it preserved, but when I moved from AZ to WI, my MIL mailed it and it fell to pieces. I took a look a some of your old posts and noticed you took a Stroller Strides class. They don't offer them around me, but when they do I'd love to take one. Did you enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteIt still looks beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never even thought about it...Maybe my mum has it in the attic? Must ask. Over from SITS, happy Sunday Girly.
ReplyDeleteI don't. I actually don't know what ever happened to it. I wish I had thought to dry it out into some sort of arrangement, but didn't.
